Ben “Are you ok?” I asked as Crispin stepped out of the glade. The sun had set long ago, but with my wolf eyes, I could see how drawn and pale he looked. And he had every reason to look that way. Something had happened since he became a real life breathing man again. The pack meeting had been tough on him, because everyone had questions. Everyone seemed to want to touch him and make sure he was real. More than one person had doubts that he was who he said he was, but there could be no real denying it.
