We all overlooked something important—Dumuh Khan had been locked up at the top of the Wizard's Tower for over a decade; the kingdom of lizardmen must have gone with a new king. And would the new king want him back?
After resting for a while in the ancient forest, we continued heading north. Our destination was the Crimson Valley Strait. The kingdom of lizardmen and the Rubylark Island faced each other across the sea, each occupying islands of similar size. The sea between these two islands was called the Crimson Valley Strait.
Since the Rubylark soldiers already knew which way we were headed, we encountered several attempts to catch us along the way but handled them with ease. This was partly because we were no longer confined to the city and had many options for hiding or changing route
