We crawled out of the ocean onto the beach, drenched to the bone. Dumuh Khan collapsed onto the sand, tears streaming down his face as he laughed and cried like a madman. "Eighteen years! I'm finally back!" Dumuh Khan shouted, his voice echoing like thunder across the quiet land. His cry startled the birds in the coastal forest, sending them into flight, and a group of guard soldiers hurried toward us. And they were all lizardmen. "Who are you?" demanded the lead lizardman, wearing a red helmet. He peered at us with his scrutinizing yellow eyes. The soldiers behind him drew their weapons and surrounded us. The leader spoke again, "Explain yourselves, or I'll take you for spies and kill you right here!" The lizardmen's language was somewhat similar to that of the Rubylark people. Dumuh K
