"I would never hug you!" Joyce denied it instinctively. Then she turned her head and saw that the place where she had been sleeping was now empty. She realized she was lying on top of me, and our position made it clear that she had been the one to hug me.
Joyce's face turned red, almost down to her neck, whether from embarrassment or shyness.
