* CHAPTER ONE * It was a bright morning, The Streets were a little bit busy. Mandy was on her way to the Fashion house were she worked as a manager. She arrived very early that morning caused she had some paper work to finish, She was till working, her head were down on her system when Sharon her boss (PA) came in. *Sharon: was up Mandy gud morning *Mandy: hey Sharon sorry I did not notice u gud morning how was ur nite. *Sharon: my nite was fyn the boss sent me to call u now. *Mandy:What!! she exclaim looking up at Sharon hope am safe. *Sharon: I don't know, just get going now u Know how the boss can be. Mandy Hawthorne is a single mom 34 she gave birth to her daughter at 17 due to r**e, since then she has been taking care of her daughter pearl alone. She struggle to make ends means and to provide all her daughter's need. Sharon and Mandy went together to meet Mr Charles the C. E. O. *Mr Charles: thank you Sharon *Sharon: No problem sir I will be at my office. *Mr Charles: gud day miss Mandy how's is the work there's no time for long time let's get straight to the point. *Mandy:Okay sir hope am safe. *Mr Charles: yes u are, we have recorded all ur hard work since u started working in this company and I will like to say that am proud of u. *Mandy: thank you very much sir. *Mr Charles: the company has decided to reward u for ur hard work we had come to a conclusion that u will be promoted as the personal assistant to Mr Drake in California, Your flight has been paid for and ur accommodation. *Mandy: thank you sir. Mandy was very happy about her leave to California,that had been her biggest dream to go to California were her late father worked.But she was not sure if her daughter was ready to leave Westminster were she was born and secondly she was a little bit scared of meeting up with her r****t pearl father. She shook her head and continue working to the bus station,when she got there she took a bus and headed home still thinking of what to tell to her daughter about their leave.
