The Bus to Nowhere
"Miya Montecarlo, I am your mother and you will obey every word I say!" Miya rolled her eyes and took a harsh breath before she turned and looked directly at her mother's eyes. "I know mom, I know that you're my mother and you still are. I'm only moving to the city because it's so exhausting here. I've had enough with all of our neighbor's crap and to be honest, also with your shinanigans." She sighed and fixated her eyes towards the floor. "I just need some alone time." "But Miya how about me? You would just leave me here?" "I don't want to, but my sanity's at risk here mom! I'm losing my mind every second I'm inside this house. If not the neighbors then you, what else am I to do? And besides, Rocky is here. I'm sure he'll keep you company." But her mom never listened to her. Heck will she listen now that she's leaving. She just fixed her eyes at her mother's mouth, never ending flutter, open and closes every minute. She's had enough of this and this is why she's moving out. Out into the world of the unknown and the unpredictable. She's not sure where to start and what she's missing but she feels that there is and she has to find it. A minute later she snapped back into reality. Realizing that arguing with her mom would be useless at this point she decided to rush towards the door and headed outside. Her mom trailing after her, shouting her name and curses she no longer hears as it fades. She ran fast as her legs can carry her and she stopped at the nearest bus stop. Luckily there's already a bus waiting there as if it was meant for her. She went inside and slumped on her seat near the window. Gazing outside her hometown she felt sad to leave but also relieved that she no longer has to deal with these people. She can and she will escape now. The future is up to itself.
