“Say something.” The words that leave my mouth are sounding more like a plea. Never in my life had I told anyone absolutely everything about me. Actually, I don’t think I ever said it out loud either, how f****d up and vile my family really is. And truthfully, now that I have heard myself saying it all, I’m shocked that I’m still alive and I haven’t blown my brains out ages ago. Not that the temptation wasn’t there, but it was because of my illness, not necessarily because of my family.
