Chapter Thirteen: Ruined

Red is planning to sleep since it's already midnight. However, she couldn't understand why she didn't feel sleepy at all. Rather than sleep, Red chose to leave her room, going to the kitchen to make coffee for herself. In the middle of her walk, Red jumps a little when she sees Raeburn sitting on the couch while he's deep in thought. And then, a wicked smile plastered on Red's face when she thought of something that would make her happy. With that, Red didn't waste her time and walked in Raeburn's direction. As for Raeburn, he creased his forehead when he noticed Red in front of him. For that reason, Raeburn can't help but feel confused when he sees that his maid is still awake in the middle of the night.

In the past few days, Raeburn noticed that there was something new about Red. Although he was a little bit confused, Raeburn chose to ignore that idea and continue drinking his wine. While Red is in front of Raeburn, waiting for him to talk to her, The truth is, Red is itching to drink coffee. However, she is still in front of Raeburn, waiting for him to speak with her.

"Red, you're still awake. Why are you not still sleeping?" Raeburn asks Red in confusion while he's sitting on the couch in their living room.

Red flashes a smile before answering Raeburn, who still now looking confused in front of her. "I'm still not sleepy, Sir. How about you, Sir? Why are you not still sleeping?"

"I can't sleep, Red. By the way, is Violet in her room?"

"She is not in her room, Sir. Raeburn," Red replied to Raeburn.

"What do you mean, Red?" Raeburn blurted out with a furrowed forehead in front of Red.

"I saw her leaving her room earlier wearing an improper dress. I think she's going to a club again."

"That woman! How many times has she made me disappointed with her!?" Raeburn let out while he was clenching his jaw.

"I'm sorry, Sir. Raeburn, this is my fault. I didn't stop her from leaving this mansion."

For a moment, Raeburn became silent because of what he heard from Red. After that, he found himself clenching his hand while gritting his teeth while thinking about his trash daughter. After that, he stands up from where he is sitting and goes back to his room. While Red is smiling widely because her plan was successful in ruining the image of Violet that her father had given to her. The truth is, Red didn't see Violet leaving the mansion; she just wanted to ruin the woman she loathes the most. Aside from that, until now, she still can't forget about what happened to her daughter because of Violet. That's why she didn't stop until she succeeded in making Violet's life a living hell.

Rather than thinking about Violet, Red chose to go to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee for herself. Though she is just a maid at the West's Mansion, she can do whatever she wants since she has permission from Raeburn. And that is a reason why she is not afraid to hurt Violet. Although Red is a little bit confused about the sudden changes in Violet's personality, she will not stop ruining the life of the woman she despises the most.

On the other hand, Violet is already in the Dark Stallion looking for a certain group that is the mastermind behind hurting Nickel. She knew that Nickel was a stranger to her. However, she couldn't hide the fact that there was a space in her heart for that child. Suddenly, a gigantic smile spread across Violet's face, and her eyes lit up like fireworks in the sky while she was thinking about Nickel. Yet, Violet's smile vanished instantly when she saw a familiar car coming in her direction. And then, she froze for a moment when she noticed that it was Dustin's car. With an annoyed expression, Violet gets out of her car and walks towards Dustin, who is now outside looking in her direction.

Violet knew that Dustin could handle himself; however, she wasn't sure if the place was safe for both of them. That's why Violet can't help but feel worried about him, since she's afraid that someone might look after their moves. Furthermore, Violet feels uncomfortable since she feels that someone is watching her moves. Rather than being afraid of that person, Violet chose to alert herself to the danger that she might encounter in the place called "Dark Stallion."

"What are you doing here, Dustin? This place is too dangerous for you!" Violet let out in an aggravated manner.

"W-Wait, why are you wearing a mask? And, how did you know this place?"

"This is not the right time to explain this to you! We need to go now, Dustin!"

"I'm worried about you. That's why I chose to follow you to this place."

"This is not an ordinary place, Dustin. We need to go now!"

Violet is going to answer Dustin when they are frozen where they stand when her car exploded like a volcano. Suddenly, Violet realizes that there is someone who realizes their moves, and her guess is correct. Afraid that they will be the next target of the person who shoots her car, Violet and Dustin decide to leave the place. Since her car is now destroyed, Violet chooses to ride in Dustin's car, and then they leave the place in a hurry.

As for the man who shoots Violet's car, he can't help but feel disappointed when she leaves the place in a hurry. In addition, the man didn't expect that Dustin would also be in that place. That's why he can't help but get furious because of Dustin.

"Leader, did you kill her?" the man with yellow hair asks while sitting in an old barrel.

"No! The father of our mission arrives at the scene and they leave in a hurry!"

Instead of answering his underling, the man chose to keep silent and leave the area with a furious expression on his face. As for his underlings, they chose to follow him to their hideout. Even though their leader was not saying anything, they knew that he was furious because he hadn't killed the woman who was a big threat to them. Though they are confused about why their superior wants her dead also, they choose to follow what he tells them to.
