Chapter Five: Tangerine Group

The room is engulfed in silence, while Violet and Dustin are now staring at each other. Sitting on the chair near the table in Dustin's office, Violet clears her throat before talking to Dustin. As for Dustin, he keeps staring at Violet since he feels that she wants to tell him something about him. Dustin was planning to talk to Violet when he heard a knock outside his office. And then, his secretary entered and gave him the documents that he needed for his work. After giving the documents to him, his secretary leaves his office again. However, Dustin becomes perplexed when he notices Violet irritated in his secretary's peripheral view, and he has no idea why. That's why Dustin can't help but ask Violet if she's okay. Since he couldn't be wrong, Dustin noticed the furious expression that was plastered on Violet's eyes. Even though he knew that she was a woman, Dustin thought that she was not an ordinary girl. And then, he remembers what happened to them when they were chased by his enemies. As he looked at her, Dustin realized that Violet was a tough woman.

"Violet, are you okay? You look irritated at something," Dustin blurted out in confusion.

"I'm doing alright, Dustin," Violet replied, still with a disgruntled expression.

Even though Violet said that she is fine, Dustin can't be wrong; there is something wrong with her. Furthermore, Dustin can't hide the fact that he was confused when he saw Violet's expression while looking at his secretary, but he just shrugged the idea off his mind. Suddenly, Dustin can't understand why he got nervous for unknown reasons. As he looked at Violet, he noticed that she was clenching her jaw while her hands turned into tight balls, as if she was calming herself.

"Are you sure, Violet?" Dustin asks Violet again while he's creasing his forehead.

"Yes, before I leave, I want to warn you, be wary of the person in whose hands you placed your trust," Violet let out with a serious expression written on her face.

"What do you mean, Violet?" Dustin asks in confusion.

All of a sudden, Violet can't help but take a deep breath because of the thing that she knew from the start. However, she can't tell Dustin since Violet knows that he will not believe her. That's why she chose to warn him about the person he should trust the most since he might be betrayed, causing his downfall. In addition, she doesn't want Nickel to get hurt because of the enemies of his father. Violet knew that Dustin could handle himself, but whenever she thinks of Nickel, she feels like she's a mother that is worrying about her son's safety.

"Just listen to me, Dustin, be careful to the person you trust the most. I know that we didn't know each other very well, but, believe me, I will not do anything bad to you. Besides, your son, he's too young to be included with your mess," Violet explains to Dustin.

"I know that, Violet. I just didn't expect that they will kidnap my son!" Dustin let out with an annoyed expression written on his face.

"Did you know, who is the group behind the kidnapping of your son?"

"Yes, they are the Tangerine Group. I didn't know that they will abduct my son just because I didn't join them in their illegal activities."

"Camp Orlando, 23 Street, this is the place that they been hiding."

"How do you know? Even me, I didn't even find a single clue where they are."

"Just trust me with this one. So, I need to leave now."

After that, Violet stands up from where she sits and plans to leave the room when Dustin stops her from walking. With that, Violet can't help but get confused because of his action towards her, even though they didn't know each other very well. And then, Violet looks at the hand of Dustin who still holding her wrist with a panic in his eyes.

"How about my son? What if he looks for you?"

"All you need is to call me. I will make sure that I arrived on time."

Once again, Violet continues her walking and leaves Dustin's office. Since she has something that needs to do, Violet didn't waste her time and leave in a hurry at Armstrong Mansion. Though she noticed that the maids are looking at her, she chose to ignore them and continue leaving the place where Dustin live.

On the other hand, there is a man who is sitting on his bed while drinking wine even though the sun is still bright. And then, he recalls all the memories that until now he couldn't forget because the man is still in pain even now. Though he wants to proceed with his plan and kill the person he loathes the most, the man stops himself since he knows that it's not the right time for his revenge. The man was about to sip his wine again when he heard that his cellphone was ringing.

When he saw the caller, he got up from his bed and fixed himself. As he looked at himself in the mirror, he saw a big mark on his chest that went down to his abdomen, inflicted by the person who killed all of his family. As he traces his mark, the man can't help but clench his jaw because of what happened to him. And then, he takes a deep breath before looking at his cellphone that is still ringing.

Rather than answering the call, he continues what he is doing to look presentable. After that, he put on his suit and decided to leave his room. Though he was a little bit dizzy because of the wine, the man chose to ignore that thought since he had work that needed to be finished. Aside from that, he doesn't want to stay in his room and thinks over and over again about his traumatic past.

"When the times come, I promised that I will be the one to kill them!" the man said to his mind while clenching his jaw.
