It was already in the middle of the night when Violet heard that someone had opened the door to her room. Rather than opening her eyes, Violet alerted herself since she wanted to know who the person was who entered her room. Violet's eyes were still closed when she got confused because she didn't hear any footsteps coming in her direction. Even though she's dying to know who the person is who enters her room, Violet keeps pretending that she is sleeping. However, minutes had passed, but still, she didn't feel the person on her side. After that, Violet heard that the door in her room was opened and closed again. When Violet is sure that the person who entered her room is gone, she slowly opens her eyes and scans her room with a furrowed forehead.
"That's weird! Who's that person enters my room without my permission?" Violet said to herself while still scanning her room.
After minutes of inspecting her room, Violet realized that there was nothing wrong with it. That's why Violet chose to sleep again, since she was still sleepy. However, Violet was planning to close her eyes when she heard that her cellphone rang all of a sudden. With a furrowed forehead, she gets her cellphone to know who is calling her. As she sees the unknown number, Violet can't help but feel confused about the person who is calling her in the middle of the night. Even though the number is unfamiliar to her, Violet chose to answer the call, knowing that it was important.
"Hello, who this?" Violet asks in confusion while she's creasing her forehead.
"It's me, Violet," Dustin answered on the other line.
"Dustin, why are calling me in the middle of the night?" Violet blurted out still with have a confused expression written on her face.
"It's about my son, he's crying again and he wants to see you," Dustin explains to Violet.
"Oh! What do you want me to do?"
"Can you come to my mansion right now?"
For a moment, Violet fell silent because of what she heard from Dustin, and then she took a deep breath before answering him. "Wait for me there in your mansion. I'll be there as soon as possible."
"Thank you, Violet. I will be waiting for you."
"Got it."
After their talk, Violet gets up on her bed and fixes herself to look presentable to Dustin. After fixing herself, Violet leaves her room, immediately going to Dustin's Mansion. However, Violet didn't expect that her father, Raeburn, would still be awake in the middle of the night while he was sitting on the couch drinking his wine. Instead of greeting him, Violet continues walking outside their mansion without looking at her father. Yet, she stops her walk when her father starts talking to her.
"Where are you going, Violet?" Raeburn asks Violet with a blank face.
As he looks at his daughter, Raeburn can't hide the fact that he is disappointed with Violet. It's funny to think about, but sometimes, Raeburn is hoping that he has another daughter who he can be proud of and introduce to other people. Yet, Raeburn didn't expect that he would get a trash daughter like Violet. That's why whenever he sees Violet, Raeburn can't hide his disappointment with his daughter.
"Somewhere away from you!" Violet replied with a disgusted expression plastered on her face.
Therefore, Violet leaves him without looking back at her father. The truth is, she wants to be close to her father. However, whenever she thinks about her past life and how Raeburn mistreated her, Violet can hide the fact that she's furious with him. That's why Violet promised herself that she would not beg for her father's love, since from the start, she knows that Raeburn will not love her as his precious daughter.
"Come back here, Violet! It's already midnight and yet you are going somewhere!" Raeburn yells at his daughter.
Even though Raeburn shouted at the top of his lungs, Violet didn't come back to their mansion. With that, Raeburn got disappointed with his daughter again, since no matter what he did, Violet didn't even listen to him. Suddenly, Raeburn realized that Violet took her personality from her mother, who died giving birth to her. As he remembers the past, Raeburn gets furious because the only woman he loves died because of giving birth to Violet. And that is the reason why he can't love his daughter because she is the one who killed the woman he only loves for the rest of his life.
"No matter what happens, I will not treat her my daughter, because she's the reason why the woman I love is in peace now!" Raeburn said to himself before sipping his wine.

"Really? Are you telling the truth, daddy?"
Instead of answering him, Dustin nods repeatedly before hugging his son. Though he knows that he bothered Violet in the middle of the night, he can't help it since his son can't stop crying. With that, all they need to do is wait for Violet to arrive at his mansion. Minutes have passed when Violet arrives at his mansion, who is now wearing casual clothes. "Are you telling the truth, mommy?"
"Yes, baby. So, stop crying now," Violet replied to Nickel before kissing his forehead.
After that, Violet looks at Dustin like she's asking where Nickel's room is. When Dustin realizes what she's going to say, he walks upstairs, and without a second thought, Violet follows him while she's still holding Nickel in her arms. After a minute, they arrived at Nickel's room and tucked him into his bed. Since Nickel didn't want to let her go from his hug, Violet chose to lie beside him while she was slowly caressing the child's hair.
