Willa POV

The air in the office was tense but it wasn't my concern. Beta and Gamma followed me into the office and I shut the door. The love stuff would have to be put on hold unless everybody wanted another Dark Wood incident.

"Listen, Alpha Troy. I know we haven't seen each other since I assisted in the battle of rogues last winter, about 3 months ago or so. It turns out that the attacks were not random. Dark Wood was attacked 2 weeks ago. It's March." I was wondering if I was making any sense. I was pacing back and forth. Everyone's eyes were following me. I'm the great and ol powerful witch. Ok, maybe decently well. If I am about to tell this man that his pack is in grave danger I needed to lay it all right. Smooth as peanut butter, except bitter.

"The attacks weren't so random. They had to attack to test security, response from pack, and skill levels. Silver Moon might have caused concern for being so strong. Having Dark Wood as an ally would prove difficult. Dark Wood was never the target, Silver Moon was. The land that Silver Moon stands on is considered 'Goddess Land'. It gives extra strength in those with magic or attack skills. I was told by my father that the land was given to your pack. The wizard council trusted this pack not to war when not necessary. Midnight took out your allies so they didn't have so much to go up against when attacking yours, but the land is the goal."

I saw Alpha Troy's eyes wide open. Everyone in surprise of this new information. Allison looked angry. To know her parents were killed for land. Grass and dirt. I'm hoping that finding her mate she had someone to turn and talk too. I wasn't sure how she was feeling about me at the moment. That was why I cursed the Midnight Alpha.

"I'm not done." I could see the guys ready to go to war. They needed to know everything. "Midnight sadly achieved in taking out your ally for now, that is until Alpha Hunter finds his beta and regroups his army. However, I'm sure they will use sometime soon to strike before Hunter can strengthen Dark Wood again and help."

Allison stood up in anger,"MY BROTHER WILL NOT BE USED IN THIS FIGHT! I HAVE LOST ENOUGH WILLA. I WILL NOT LOSE ANYMORE FAMILY!"

I stepped back into a corner as her eyes turned black. She was starting to shift. Maybe I shouldn't have said all of this with her here.

"My Luna! Please let's get some air. We'll finish this discussion later Willa, PRIVATELY!" Troy looked at me to leave. She was about to fully shift and it was all my fault. Beta and Gamma we're trying to calm Allison down too. This became a real sh*t show. I'll fix it, it was my doing.

I lifted my left hand towards her forehead calmly as Troy was talking to her. It was helping nothing once I saw Ivory's fur poke out.

"Into A Slumber, Fall In Deep.

Close Your Eyes And Fall Asleep."

I chanted. She collapsed into Troy's arms and he carried her.

"Let's finish this discussion once I put my Luna to bed." He walked out.

Carter and Zander sighed. This was going to be a long day.
