My mother and I split up and ran to each room in the pack house. We notified the men to help in the attacks and for the she wolves and children to come with us.
Right then, my dad sent a pack message. OUR PACK IS UNDER ATTACK! ALL WARRIORS IN THE PACK HOUSE TO PROTECT THEIR LUNA.
Our gamma, Zed kissed his wife and child then shifted. "Luna Sarah, I will do my best to protect you!"
My mother turned to him after checking a room,"You will do no such thing!"
Zed looked confused.
"You will fight alongside your alpha and I will protect this pack house. Do not leave my husband out there without his best men!" The seriousness and worried look on my mother's face broke my heart in half.
Zed nodded,"Yes Luna, as you wish." He shifted into his brown wolf and ran at the speed of light outside.
At this point we had gathered every she wolf and cub together. My mother led us downstairs to a secret hideout so we could stay out of harm's way. After we escorted everyone down into the grey brick room, I turned to face my mother.
"I need to grab something from my room in case they are looking for it or know if it's existence." My mother said.
"What do you mean mom?" I ran up the stairs with her and saw her looking through her jewelry box. "Mom? What are you looking for? Let me help you."
She was throwing jewelry, makeup all over the floor. Then she reached for a ring box and opened it and smiled. "Ok, let's go downstairs with the women and children sweetheart."
What in the hell did she need a ring at this time? We passed windows going down the stairs into the hidden basement. I saw wolves pounding on each other. It was hard not to freeze from being scared.
Why is this all happening? This is just so random! We reached to the bottom and she opened the heavy door.
She kissed me on my forehead, tears in her eyes and said, "I love you Allison Justice Hart with every piece of my soul and body. Remember that," and closed the door.
I screamed for her to come back and open the door. "MOM! MOTHER! NO! PLEASE DON'T FIGHT! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!"There was no use.
I was locked in here. I was crying. A true mess. Some help I was to the she wolves here who were already in full panic mode. Why would my mother go into battle? My entire family was out there, fighting. I'm in here crying.
Would they have left me behind if I trained with them more? Was I just useless to them?
I know that I didn't have a wolf, so yes, I was useless to them in battle. I slammed my back on the wall and slide down to hold onto my knees. I cried hysterically. I will definitely be yelling at them all when this is all over!
The Luna should be here, calming her pack. But I know my mother would've gone crazy being here not helping dad or Hunter. I was safe in here.
I knew that is why she left and didn't tell me. But why did she need that ring? It didn't make any sense. I started to build up an ugly anxiety attack and my chest got tight.
Soon after, a little girl came up to me. She was holding a rose. At the same exact time I felt the sharpest pain in my chest, as if I've been shot by bullet or stabbed. I fell on my side on the ground.
Before I completely passed out I saw a pedal from the rose fall. Slowly, beautifully, as if the rose pedal was ok with falling. It accepted it's fate and knew it was part of it's life cycle. Mom, you didn't did you? Please, why do I feel like... everything turned black.
Luna Hart POV
I felt horrible leaving my daughter behind but even if she had her wolf I'd lock her in there. I knew that Steven needed me, I felt horrible pains on my shoulders and chest. I am glad I found the Ring of War. I haven't had to use it since my younger years in war battles, against the strongest of enemies.
We were completely overwhelmed in enemy numbers and I knew this will help. I put the ring on and let my anger fuel it's energy.
I saw my omegas being attacked, taunted and played with disturbingly by the enemy, by the pack house.
I walked closer with disgust. The wolves saw me, il not in shifted form. They must think I'm weaker in this way good! They jumped towards me. I raised my hand their direction, my ring turned red, and their bodies lit on fire.
Their flaming bodies caught their attention. The wolves stopped attacking my pack, "That's coming from the Luna, kill that b*tch, she's priority!"
I saw two big black wolves growl and jump towards me, violently. I raised a hand in their directions. Their bodies caught on fire.
The other wolves saw this and yelp and try to retreat. They messed with the wrong damn pack. I marched in my gown, turned red from their blood, raised my hands and danced in place. Using Earth magick now. Thinking of only the enemy in flames, I closed my eyes. I asked the grounds to help track them. I hummed to keep calm and pranced around. Lifted one leg in a bent position. Swaying my arms around to feel their presence. FOUND THEM!
I opened my eyes to screams and howls. The enemy wolves engulf in flames. The Ring of War. Given to me by my dearest wizard friend. Such an unfair advantage that's why it had it's limit.
I had killed a few dozen wolves by now and I felt my finger on fire. That's how I knew I reached the limit. The limit placed by him to prevent complete chaos.
I saw my omegas run towards me in the form of wolves, kneeling. "Thank you Luna. You are a true warrior. Thank you for saving us."
"Please, go to the next pack and warn them of our attack. You all will be safe there. I will send somebody to notify you when it's safe." I told them and they left. I fell to my knees, my love was not in good shape. "STEVEN I'M COMING DARLING!" He is not holding up well. My mate, my love, hold on.
