Chapter 8 War or Alliance Marriage

Derrick relieved a sigh as he clutched his chest in pain from the spot the arrow has been. Blood started seeping through his blouse as he stumble over and fell.

"W-We need the royal doctor!" Celine hands trembled as she takes Derrick hand quickly.

*******************In the Ignis Kingdom**********

Lilith and Leo appeared in the throne room. Lilith goes on a rant about "Killing Celine" being "Queen". A slap to the face from the person she has least expected, caused her to stop her troublesome rants.

"Leo, why?! Are you defending that b***h, too!"

Lilith psychotic rage felt screams echoed through the throne room.

"You caused a war because you let our idea get too far! Now that Derrick has no need to keep you, since he knows you're not carrying his child!" Leo raising his voice caused Lilith to flinched, she never knew that Leo could be this upset at her. "This is the same type of behavior that got you demoted in the first place!"

"Leo..." Lilith's voice softened as she regain her composure holding the affected cheek she was slapped on earlier. "This baby is still some use to us. It's Derrick's brother baby afterall."

"Kenneth? Kenneth is a fool and a playboy. All he knows is to go to other countries and bring back women from different territories."

Leo pinched the bridge of his nose.

"But brother if we help him achieve the throne instead? Convince him to kill Derrick for the sake of his heir and then we pull a fast one and end his life! Both Ignis and Lustita will be ours!" Lilith laughed and twirled in the throne room as she heard the voice of a woman down the hall she stopped and her face turned cold.

"Where is that idoitic girl?!" it was the Queen Dowager Ulisa coming in her elegant brown hair and youthful appearance barely changed, her eyes were red rubies just like Lilith. She could be easily mistaken as Lilith's older sister from afar.

"Lilith, you have dishonored the Warwick family! You got caught, demoted and tossed aside for another girl! Why should you come home barefaced?! Have you no shame?! Maids come and beat her!"

As the maids grab onto Lilith, Leo stops them and turns towards his mother with a sweet sappy voice that makes his mother soften.

"Mother, Lilith is pregnant right now...she doesn't know how to act right now..." Leo kneeled with puppy eyes cause his mother to tell the maids to let go with a gesture.

"Fine, but if Lilith cause anymore trouble I'll end her walking abilities for good." Ulisa said as she helped her son up.

Ulisa stood in silence and thought to herself how could she silence the war that was brewing.

"Leo, send your youngest sister. Lissa will be prepared to take Lilith's place as a noble consort to King Derrick. This is an alliance marriage. Lissa remembers Derrick fondly and Derrick loves Lissa. If she can claim the spot of Queen by earning favor from Derrick she can conquer Lustita." Ulisa smirked at this thought as malice expression overcome her whole face.

"Mother, how would you know that Lissa will succeed. Lilith and Derrick wholeheartedly loved each other before. Lilith screwed up once big time and instead of a slap on the wrist. She almost got an axe to nap of her neck." Leo gazed averted his mother's and Ulisa waved carelessly.

"Lissa will succeed if she doesn't, she'll be banished from this country simple as that. Besides she was never my child. Who cares I'll love her if she does succeed and I'll still hate her if she doesn't. Doesn't help she is the bastard child of that Consort Anna from the Northern Empire. LISSA!!! where is that girl?"

A girl with long blonde hair in a princess haircut that was braided into a side ponytail and blue eyes dressed in golden and white with a viel comes walking in, everyone knows her as Lissa the child that resembled the old king and his favorite consort. The child who is scorned by the Empress Dowager.

"Mother, you have called?" Lissa said a little unsure of herself as the Dowager frowned a bit, Lissa courtesy.

"You are going to the the Lustita Kingdom to become a consort to Derrick, I want you to go with Leo to compromise about the war and reason with King Derrick next month in the spring." Ulisa turned her nose up at Lissa. "Don't mess this up and remember to guilt trip Derrick about the lovely times you two spent together as children!"

Lissa kneeled and bowed. "Yes, mother."

"Good, girl! Now off with you."

Derrick was fast asleep, stabalized and Celine sat on the bed with him. As soon as Derrick eyes fluttered open and saw Celine he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"My beloved queen-to-be let's have a baby...I rather do it in Mirror castle before we go back. Besides you're not poisoned anymore." stated Derrick as he look up at Celine with a amused smile on his face.

"You're injuried Derrick!" Celine squealed with a blush. "You should really rest."

"I don't care! Wait, you can do all the work, just like how I taught you!" Derrick pulled Celine under the sheets quickly tossing garments out the sheets and onto the floor.

"H-Hey Derrick is this appropriate?!"

"Churches law state that the crown princess can be pregnant before the crowning ceremony." Derrick licked Celine's neck causing a brief moan to escape her lips.

Derrick kiss Celine before moving onto other territories. The maids blushed walking by the door hearing the moans and grunts. Sabrina was listening the whole time to the conversation as her face twisted to disgust.

"Oh my..." stated a giggling maid. "We might have a little prince or princess soon."

Sabrina the maid that Lilith was close with ran away quickly from the door as she ran out the castle in a cloak. She ran out to meet the coachmen secretly in the woods and took off for the Ignis territory. She knew if she stayed any longer she would be held for treason and she knew she must report that Celine is no longer poisoned, indeed she can produce an heir.
