You’d think we were seven years old again, playing cops and robbers. I have stolen something very valuable from Matthew and Eric; their hearts and their self control. Now, they are on the chase. Determined to apprehend their outlaw. I’ve been locked up once already tonight, and managed to escape. I wonder what punishment I’ll succumb to when they catch me. Certainly, I intend to be caught before the night is truly over.
I take the stairs two at a time, giggling with renewed energy from the teasing during the ride home. But they are hot on my heels - or lack there of as my stilettos are laying forgotten in the back floorboard of the rental car. Eric is directly behind me and Matthew is closing the distance fast.
