Sometimes things are going along just swimmingly, and then other days… when it rains, it pours as they say. I had just finished packing up my table of sweet treats from the bake sale when a message came over the loud speaker for all of the school to hear.
“Mrs. Anderson, please come to the nurses’ office right away.”
At the same moment my phone started buzzing with a message. I picked it up, and sure enough it was from the school nurse. “Your son, Kyle Anderson, is in the nurses office and needs a guardian to come address a medical issue immediately.”
