"Something?" Ambrose raised his eyebrows as he tilted his head sideways. "What do you mean?" he asked. Eris pulled Ambrose's hand making Ambrose sit facing her direction. "You know," Eris uttered awkwardly but managed to give Ambrose an awkward wink. Eris combed her hair with her hands and patted her cheeks. She then gave an angelic smile to Ambrose. Ambrose just looked at her with a poker face. "What are trying to do?" Ambrose asked with an empty tone. Eris' smile slowly turned to a flat. "You must be kidding me," she uttered. She moved closer to Ambrose and she let her hands wander on Ambrose's chest. She could feel how hard Ambrose's chest is, and the muscles beneath his thin shirt sent a burning feeling to Eris' hands. Ambrose frowned on Eris' movements. He grabbed Eris's hand and pushed Eris, pinning her down to the bed. "What do you think you're doing?" Ambrose spat angrily. A faint feeling of excitement has aroused in Eris's body. Given her position, it made her feel aroused despite Ambrose's irate voice. She looked at Ambrose's angry yet still handsome face. His deep blue eyes made Eris feel more intoxicated than the vodka she had gulped a while ago. His golden ash hair sent Eris' eyes with heavenly sight. Eris' eyes were interrupted by Ambrose's words. "Care to explain?" Eris cleared her face covered with treads of her hair by opening her lips and letting a blow out of her mouth. "You know, Mr. I don't know whoever you are. You don't have to pretend and feel unexcited with me. It won't work." Eris smirked. "Let's just do what our body wants us to do," Eris said seductively. Her doe brown eyes met Ambrose's deep blue eyes. Eris' words made Ambrose frown. Her words made Ambrose feel disgusted. "Are you insane? How could you offer your body to someone who you just met?" Ambrose angrily spat. He removed Eris' hands in his grip by shoving her hands to the side. "Are all people like this? Throwing their body to someone who they don't know?" Ambrose continued. "Aren't you disgusted?" Ambrose gave Eris a look from her toes to her head. Sending Eris an embarrassing feeling. Ambrose couldn't believe how easy it is for humans to give their bodies to a stranger. Ercians would be punished by death if they do that because Ercians should be given a blessing by the high priest first before their body become one with their partner. For them to be granted by the high priest's blessing, their love should be pure and they should spend a hundred years exchanging love and care with their partner. "If you just wanted me to feel embarrassed, fine, you succeeded. It's not like I'm begging you!" Eris yelled and pulled herself out of the bed. She is trying to hold her tears from coming out of her eyes. This is the first time that a man shouted at her, the worst is hearing words that a man never dared to tell her. Ambrose also got out of the bed and stormed his way to Eris, stopping just inches away from Eris' body. "It sounds funny to hear you saying that you're not begging for it when you undoubtedly throwing yourself to me," Ambrose whispered. Eris could feel Ambrose's breath making her swallow and breath deeply. "You are the worst person that I ever encountered. You are the only man who made me feel so bad," Eris uttered. She began to feel pity for herself. If only Mereda didn't die, Ambrose knows that they would spend a lovely life with each other. Eris stormed out of the room trying to hold her tears but she was overwhelmed by her feeling and couldn't contain her tears much longer than she expected. This is the first time that she felt excited about a man and she was vocal about it but she didn't expect that the worst thing could happen. She felt ashamed and disgusted at the same time. Ambrose felt relief when Eris made her way out of the room but isn't she the one he needs to protect? He suddenly realizes how dumb his actions are. "Crap." he exhaled in defeat. Now, where could he find that woman? Ambrose didn't waste any second to pass. He abruptly marched his way out of the room. A piece of loud music banged his ears after storming out. The place was very unfamiliar to his eyes. Ambrose felt annoyed with the lights going on and off, it made him feel uncomfortable and of course, these eyes hunting him down from the gazes of the girls around him is making him feel irritated. "Where did that woman go?" Ambrose vocalized his thoughts in his head. A hand from behind slipped on his shoulder. "Who are you looking for?" The woman asked. Ambrose turned his back to see the woman who have uttered words while snaking her hands in his neck. "Would you humans please be modest?" Ambrose spat. He removed the woman's hand with force causing the woman to budge in her stance. "Why did you do that for?" The woman frowned and asked in shock. Ambrose left her with a smirk on his face. The woman felt embarrassed as she heard mocking laughter from the people who witnessed the scene between her and Ambrose. Ambrose also heard people laughing at the woman. He thinks that women from Earth, like to throw themselves at every stranger they see. What Ambrose doesn't know is it's his appearance that catches the attention of every woman he passes through. Ambrose searched for the exit and finally got himself out of the club. "A terrible place filled with terrible people," Ambrose spat while looking at the club's building not knowing that this place is for people who enjoy loud music and alcoholic beverages. Huge buildings with bright lights, fast-moving cars, and numbers of people passing by greeted Ambrose's two deep blue eyes. What is wrong with this place? He raised a question in his head. He still can't believe what happened earlier and now he's looking at something that displeases his eyes. Ambrose massaged his forehead then pulled his hair without inserting much force in frustration "Now, Ambrose, how are you going to find that woman?" He asked himself. He let the woman who he should be protecting leave, and now he doesn't know where and how to find her. While Ambrose is being frustrated with his actions, Devas' voice echoed in his head. "Oh, Ambrose. It seems like you're enjoying your first night on Earth," said Devas, making Ambrose notice his playful voice. "Don't mock me, I'm not in a good mood," Ambrose uttered, forgetting that he is talking to a God, but Devas didn't mind, it's not new to him anyway. Devas laughed in amusement, seeing how frustrated Ambrose is, and he uttered, "Now, should I send someone to help you?"
