Nasr al-Din left and left Doaa behind, shocked by his reaction. As for him, he got into his car, then looked at his watch to find that the time was one o’clock in the afternoon, meaning that he was an hour and a half away from his work schedule, where he works as a teacher of physics and chemistry in the high school, and he decided to sit in a café near the high school until it was time to work. Duaa stood there for a few minutes, trying to comprehend Nasr al-Din’s speech, and suddenly she went out looking for him while she was extremely angry. Doaa: This is impossible.. Who are you to sever the relationship between us? I will make you regret this action, and you will return to me against your will. This house will be in my name, and my name will not be Doaa if I do not implement this. Hours passed and Iman finished her housework, and when the afternoon prayer called, she prayed the obligatory prayer, put on her loose clothes and hijab, and then left the house as she did every month. She visits the grave of her grandparents, but before she reaches the cemetery she is forced to face all kinds of people. Sometimes she finds people who look at her with pity, others who look at her with disgust and bully her, and few who treat her normally. She kept walking with her eyes looking at the ground until she reached the cemetery, then she entered it and headed to where her grandparents’ graves were, so she sat reading to them some verses from the Holy Qur’an, and complaining to them about her worries as she had been accustomed to since childhood, but the difference was that they were alive and they comforted her with their embrace, but now they are among them. Embracing the dirt, and began to complain over their graves. A few meters away from her, an old man with a white beard was watching her, and he saw the tears streaming down her cheeks without stopping, so he joined his hands and said: O Lord, grant relief to her and light her path, O Lord, O Lord, you know her condition, ease her condition and provide for her from where she does not expect. . A stranger who knew nothing about her, but he prayed with her without any compensation, and he kept watching her until she left. Then he looked towards the grave next to which he was standing and said with longing: May God have mercy on you, Khadija. Have you seen that girl like you? Whenever your situation was difficult, you would come to your parents’ graves and complain about your concerns. . I hope that you will meet with them in Paradise, God willing, and I will meet with you, God willing. That person also left and returned to his home. As for Iman, she went to one of the small stores, bought a little candy with the money she saved, and presented it to young children. She was happy with their smile that lit up their faces with a simple act of hers. Time passed and it was sunset when Doaa entered the house, where she spent the entire time outside, and found her mother drinking tea. She sat next to her and took a cup from her. Samira (Mother): My daughter, where have you been late so far? All this time to arrange things in the house. Duaa: Your nephew left me alone among the workers and went away, and did not even bother to call me. Samira: If this is true, it means that you are talking about someone other than Nasr al-Din. Doaa: Why? Is Nasr al-Din an angel? He is also a human being. Accept the idea. He left me and left. Duaa: Your sister’s son left me alone, alone with the maid, and he walked away and did not bother to contact me. Samira: But what prompted him to leave you alone? Doaa shrugged her shoulders indifferently and said: Who knows, bid me farewell and left. Samira narrowed her eyes as she looked at her and said: Tell me what happened between you two from the time you met until he left. I want to know the details. Doaa began to tell her what had happened from their breakfast together to Nasr al-Din’s call to his father, which increased Samira’s focus even more until Doaa finished her talk, so she pinched it directly, making Doaa feel terrible pain. Duaa: Mom, what's wrong, why did you pinch me? Samira: You deserve more because your tongue needs to be cut. I was planning how to bring you together with your cousin, may God have mercy on her, and now you are saying something as stupid as you are, and you made the man leave you, so enjoy watching him marry another girl, and enjoy his goodness, and you will remain here with me. Samira was silent for a while, then started hitting her legs, saying: I will become a laughing stock among people because of you. God blessed me with a fool who lost a man in every sense of the word. Doaa: This will not happen. You know and everyone knows that Nasr al-Din loves me and will not abandon me so easily. Samira squeezed her fist out of anger and said: If he loves you once, he loves his father a hundred times, and as long as you underestimate his father's value, do not dream of his return again. Doaa felt afraid of the idea of him leaving her, and said: You're just scaring me, mom, aren't you? Samira: Look at the i***t, she still thinks I'm joking with her. You know, your father once found me. I left his mother cooking when she was sick, so he sent me to my family's house for two months, even though she was the one who insisted on cooking. As for you, you said that to his face and his father heard it. In your opinion, will he look at your face again? . Doaa stood up and started coming and going in front of her mother, and she felt that her head would explode from thinking and stress, so she said: I have to find a solution. This house will not be lost from my hands so easily, and my friends, whom I told that I would live in a luxurious place, will definitely become a laughing stock in front of them. My mother, please help me. What? I do. Samira smiled at her, increasing her pressure, saying: You are the one who made a mistake and you must find a solution. I have nothing to do with your actions. Doaa sat next to her and held her hand, saying: Please help me, mother, this time, and I promise not to repeat the mistake again. Samira: Well, I will help you this time, but don’t repeat such an act. Duaa: Am I crazy to repeat it? Samira: Come, I will tell you what you should do. Doaa continued to listen to her mother with full concentration, and with every word that came out of Samira’s mouth, her smile expanded. As soon as Samira finished speaking, Doaa said: How smart you are, mother. Samira: Whoever has a husband like your father must become smart in order to go along with him and continue her life with him. Fortunately for you, Nasr al-Din loves you and will make the task easier for you, and he is not like your father, who does not know anything called love at all. All he is good at is threatening me to marry another woman whenever we quarrel. . Doaa: I think you are unfair to him, as my father is kind in his treatment. Samira: I have to be alone with him and eavesdrop on us at that time. Look at his alleged kindness. A careless supplication: This does not concern me. I must now know how to implement our plan. At Iman, who entered the house at the time of the sunset call to prayer, to find her stepmother sitting by the door waiting for her, and her features did not bode well. As soon as she saw her, her features became tense and she said: Thank God for your safety, princess. Where have you been until this time, or have you not found a man to deter you from... Your actions: you enter whenever you want, and you leave whenever you want. Iman: My aunt, I was at the cemetery. I visited my grandfather and grandmother and came back immediately. I didn’t even get in the taxi. Amal: It is as if we are making money so that you can waste it in taxis. Isn’t it enough for you that you are sitting at home without work or even a man who will marry you? Iman felt a new feeling planting itself in her heart, so tears formed in her eyes, even though she had no fault in her condition, and she did not decide to be like this, and despite everything, she thanked God and thanked Him, and in the middle of her deepening thoughts, she heard the voice of her father who entered, to find his wife screaming, so he spoke in his harsh voice. He said: What's happening again?
