Liam's POV
"where are you going? I can walk you " I tried to smile a little. She took her time to answer.
"no I'm fine and my boyfriend is waiting for me I should probably go" I felt like a bullet was shot through my heart. I didn't expect this. I've loved her for four years and even though she won't accept me in any way I still dreamed the possibility of her being mine forever. My instinct told me to turnaround and leave.
"okay goodnight "I didn't give her the chance to answer me back I just left. I trusted my instinct. I thought about what she said on my way home, it hurts as hell giving up on her. I was the one who loved her for four years and she already has someone. I love her and she's the only reason that keeps me going. Because of her I breath, I live. She's my cure for my sorrows and my painful life. For me she's like spelling Liam without L.
Linsey's POV
I put my sandwich on the table preparing myself to watch a movie. I was so hungry, I felt like I was dying. There was nothing cool to watch on the TV so I started to watch a lame show. My phone buzzed, it was a text message. I've been receiving this kind of text messages for four years now. I don't know who it is but he always makes me feel good. I don't even know how he manages to see my whole life but he knows my every move. I don't even know his name, I just simply saved the number as Mr.X. I unlocked my phone to see the message.
Mr. X - good night my love
Ohhhhh how sweet. He always sends me this kind of thing but I've never responded. I just respond to him in my heart. The front door started to unlock it was mom, finally I thought.
"hey was being late part of the dinner." I looked her in the eyes like a cute puppy.
"you know your uncle he never stops talking" she took off her coat and sat next to me on the sofa.
"what does he need anyway? He has been bothering you lately since..." I broke into silence, I didn't wanna finish the next word.
"since the divorce" she finished it for me, she doesn't even like to say it out loud but she said it.
"yeah" I forced a smile trying to hide the pain.
"he's discussing about the store you know. Your father wants to share the store, he wants to add my pain more and more, he wants to hurt me in so many ways..." she couldn't finish her words her tears blocked her words.
"that monster, mom it's gonna be okay I promise you. I 'll start a part time job and I can support myself, don't worry" I hugged her tight. Why does fathers act like this, act like they don't care about anything.
"mom please stop crying; God will help us. Have faith in him, you're the one who taught me that, at least don't be weak in front of me." I tried to calm her down but her sobs became loud.
"mom we're gonna be okay" my voice cracked. We all get confused and hurt because of boys in our life at least once.
They act like they own you and make you under their control. I don't even get it my dad is rich, he has two hotels, fancy cars, billions in his pockets. Why does he need my mom's store, it means nothing compared to his large hotels?
Plus, he already hurt mom a lot of times before, they separated because he cheated on her. She once found him in his office making out with a girl the same age as mine. You know what I'll do first thing in the morning I'll go to his house and let him know that I still exist.

"where are you going sweetie it's early" mom put out the last pancake on the plate glancing at me.
"me and carter have plans, yesterday I ruined his day by bailing on him while I was out doing business so I have to make it up for him." I lied like I was saying yesterday I'm going to that monster's house.
"ok be safe out there" she pulled out a chair and sat chewing her pancake she shoved into her mouth.
"always" I run to the door. I don't have plans really I'll just go and...
"give him a punch" devil gave me his morning greetings.

"look who's talking" devil teased him making me smirk. I always feel bad for my angel part because my devil part always make fun of him but he just stays calm and gentle.
"taxi" I yelled waving my hand to get the driver's eyes. He pulled over in front of me and I hopped in the front seat.
"where to?" he drove the car after I buckled up my seat belt.
I was thinking about going to his house but I changed my mind. "ah shepherd hotel" I exclaimed. Soon after my phone received a text.
Mr.x- morning my love
I chuckled receiving a glare from the driver. Should I reply to him? I asked myself.
"yeah you're bored so why don't you have a phone date for a couple of minutes" this time it was neither devil nor angel it was a third person in my mind. They both stared at him in awe. I agreed and texted him back.

Liam's POV
I texted her giving her my morning greetings. I know she won't reply so I put my phone on the drawer near my bed. I got up to take a shower. I grabbed some clothes a black shirt, black jeans even black boxers from my closet. My phone buzzed while I was on my way to my bathroom. Who would call me or text me. I don't have friends or anything.
I froze when I saw the text.
Linsey- morning
I was over joyed she didn't respond to any of my texts for four years and now here she is.
Liam- have you slept well? I texted back not to cut our conversation short.
Linsey- yeah you?
Liam- totally. Have you eaten?
Linsey- yes doctor but these days I don't have much of an appetite. I chuckled.
Liam- then you've come to the right place
Linsey- ha ha
Liam- do you feel possessed by me?
Linsey- why do you ask? I haven't even asked that for myself
Liam- well don't bother I'm the crazy one here
Linsey- sure crazy anyway I gotta go, I've got some stuff to finish
Liam- okay you look like a gang leader your words are strong
She's so sweet. This day might be the greatest day of my life. Now let's get clean.
