My Ghost Lover

     Hey for any person who decided to read my book. You are an awesome person. This first chapter is a piece of my heart... Yuk I'm not good at saying cute things don't mind me read it and love it and Love ❤️ you all. I'm dedicating my first book for my friends Eden, Dagi, Beza, Mercy, Hani, Lidu, all in all to our group soul sisters.          Linsey's POV     This is what I hate,when you're already running late and the whole world betrays you right away. I'm already late for school and I dropped all my assignment papers on the ground. I cursed under my breath. I collected all the papers and I started to run again, well let's say I tried to, unexpectedly I bumped into someone, I slowly raised my head rubbing my forehead, I stared back to the person in front of me not knowing what to say.       "um, I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." I stutter avoiding his dark brown eyes. If you're lost in his identity, he is Liam Spencer our town's living ghost. He got the nickname because of his outfit and dark scary personality.       "It's okay, I think you're in a hurry,you better go." He moved a little to give me a way to go.      "yeah, I'm so sorry again for the little commotion I created." I added forcing myself to smile .Who seriously smile for a ghost? you just make a spell to get rid of them. I started walking straight not looking back because I felt his eyes staring my back making a hole in it. ==================================================================================== "Are we still sticking to the plan? " Carter said praying in his inside not to cancel on him but sadly I already did.  "sorry nerd mom asked me to watch the store for her, she has this stupid dinner plan with my uncle" I exclaimed.  "what? You bailed on me?This is unforgivable"     I can't help it my mom's already in bad financial problems after she got a divorce with dad. She can't close the store for a second cause that's our only hope to survive.   "carter I promise I'll make it up to you, I swear" I tried to comfort him hugging him tightly.   "uhhhh that hurts. Are you gonna kill me ?"he made a scene making me laugh.    Oh I love that nerd.  "Anyways Adios nerd." I call out to him waving my hand.  "hey, don't forget to bring me the book tomorrow or I'll call you later to make sure you have it." He yelled as I was getting far from him.  "yeah okay" I waved again.  When I reached the store mom was already finished and waiting for me.  "honey I'm going to give you a responsibility to watch the store for me so... you know what to do" she handed me the keys and other stuff.  "and leave the store sharp at 6:oo okay, no serving the community late." She flipped her blonde hair showing off her beauty with it.  "yes ma'am" I raised my hand up like a soldier.  "okay I'll see you later darling. Take care, don't talk to strangers, leave immediately if you see any kind of fishy thing in here okay"    Moms.  She kissed me on the cheek and left. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Business is great. I had an awesome day. It felt good. It was almost 6:oo so I gathered all my stuff to leave not to serve the community late as mom said. I grabbed all the keys and other stuff that I thought mom needed. My phone buzzed and I give a glance to it, it was carter.  "hello nerd"  "hello labor" he giggled  "what's up" I asked checking the safe where the cash is put.  "what to do you mean? do you forgot about the book?"  "oh god I almost forgot about it I'll get it to you. I haven't left the store." I made my way to the shelves looking for the stupid book that he was asking.  "yeah you should be."  "I got it. You should pay extra for making me work late." I heard the doorbell signaling a customer's entrance.  "In your dreams labor." I giggled imagining his face when he said that.  "anyway I gotta go see you tomo..." I froze at the man standing in front of me staring at me with his dark piercing eyes.  "hello, Linsey are you okay? Do you want me to finish you're words for you?" carter in the other line babbled.     It was the ghost. I have a lot of questions in my mind right now, first is there a difference between putting the milk before the cornflakes or after the cornflakes I saw a video last night, two dudes fighting over this idea.     What are you thinking Linsey the town's scary man is in front of you and you have the nerve to talk about milk at this very moment.    "run" said my angel in my mind thinking what's best for me.     "no show him where the nearest grave is found" my devil part suggested.    "Are you serious right now? " I called out to him.    "don't listen to him he's making you a bad person" my angel part popped up.    We both looked at him in a "say what?" look.   Oh my god I should stop this silliness in my head I almost forgot the man in front of me.   "I I'm sorry but we we're closed" I stuttered.   "nice going you embarrassed yourself" devil appeared   "no you didn't it's okay just take a deep breath and..." we silenced angel glaring at him.   What is he talking about breathing?   pathetic.   "I noticed..." he kept staring. I'm concluding something today, does our store becomes like the museum in that movie called 'Night at the museum' after we leave. Is that why he came here? to start the party?   Busted   I like the dinosaur in that movie and the guy in the horse who loved the lady.   I hate the monkey though.   "I'm closing now so can you come back tomorrow?" I didn't stutter now.   "that's my girl" devil made his presence.   Angel glared at him. A small smile appeared on my face.   "yeah, I guess" he said a crease forming, confused with my sudden smile that I couldn't hide.I locked up and he was still eyeing me like his prey.  "where are you going I can walk you" his brown hair moved a little because of the wind.   "say okay. You seem like a perfect couple a ghost and..." devil couldn't finish his sentence.   "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" angel barked.   "no I'm fine and my boyfriend is waiting for me I should probably go" I lied. His dark eyes turned more darker, his colors drained from his face.   "okay good night" with that he left.   "why did you lie? Lying is bad. God hates it" angel cried.   We both gave him that look again
