Chapter 16

Every girl's dream was to be a princess, living in a large castle, dressed in a pink and ruffled gown, and wearing a tiara accompanied by a slew of servers to help her. But what makes a girl want to be a princess is to find her prince. I'm not sure what happened to me; I'm not a princess... But why is such a handsome prince standing in front of me? Is this another dream? Because if that's the case, please don't wake me up. "You're my boyfriend?" I asked, completely baffled, as I stared at his handsome face. He didn't respond, but his nod was enough to make me feel a tingle in my stomach. Who wouldn't be overjoyed if they awoke one day to find themselves with a princely handsome boyfriend? "Isn't it handsome?" said the person next to it, whose name, if I recall correctly, is Kheed. I nodded and smiled at him. "I'm so lucky!" He laughed at what I said. "You're really lucky. Don't you know your boyfriend is the president of a big company? Women are trying to get him, but you're the only one who melts the frozen heart. You're very lucky!" He said, which made me smile even more. But then I remembered something, " But why does he look mad at me the last time, asking what I saw?" The three of them exchanged glances before smiling at me. "I already told this to your mom, but since you forgot your memories, your boyfriend has difficulty expressing his true feelings, just like you said. He was worried to death that it looks like he's angry in your eyes, but the truth is that he's just very worried about you," said the man in the eyeglasses. Is there such a disease? I suppose it's strange. "But he kept asking me what I saw... That's why I thought I owed him something... I didn't expect him to be my boyfriend from the way he looked at me," I'm still perplexed. I still get chills thinking about how he looked back then. That is not a worried expression, he looks mad. Even though I've lost my memory, I can tell the difference. "He was jealous," Kheed said, drawing our attention to him. Jealous? What kind of thing? "He saw you talking with another guy from school who was just asking for notes, but he took it seriously and kept asking what you saw on that guy," he explained further. I looked at the man they claimed to be my boyfriend. He inhaled deeply before shaking his head. I couldn't tell what he was thinking because he had closed his eyes. "You see, you're so damn beautiful, that's why our friend is like that. Please bear with me, he's just fallen in love for the first time," Kheed explained, giving me a reason to smile. "They're right, Samantha. Your boyfriend just loves you too much. Lucas already told me about his strange behavior. It wasn't a problem, and he was very thoughtful of you, as you can see by how often he visits you." Mom said, smiling. She moved in closer and hugged me, saying, "Even if you lose your memory, I know you will remember your love for each other; trust your heart, Samantha." I nodded. After all, it was stated and confirmed by my mother, so I have no reason not to believe it. Despite the fact that there are many doubts in my heart. I can't recall anything. But why did I feel a rush of emotions for my mother but not for him? It's as if I don't recognize him. Did my brain also forget how I felt about him? I was deep in thought when my boyfriend and Lucas left while Kheed and mom were left with me inside. "How are you doing? Do you still have pain?" Kheed asked, his smile making me feel relieved for some inexplicable reason. This is why I mistook him for my boyfriend rather than my true lover. "I'm fine, it's still a little difficult to speak because my jaw is still swollen, but I can handle the pain." "As for my body, I'm slowly getting used to the cast attached; the doctor said I only have to endure it for a month before they completely remove it to ensure my bones are fine." It responded with a nod. "That's good; I was afraid you wouldn't wake up," he said softly but clearly. "What kind of accident was I in? I'm still puzzled by what the doctor said was limited." I'm still baffled as to how I ended up in an accident. The doctor only gave me a little information, so I'm still confused, especially since I recently discovered that I have a very attractive boyfriend. "Car accident. You were hit and run. You and your boyfriend were having an argument when the accident happened. As I previously stated, he was jealous of the man he saw you with, and because of this argument, you didn't realize a car was coming, well you're lucky that your boyfriend followed you and we immediately brought you here to be treated. We are very concerned about you." I remained silent, trying to act out what he said in my head. It appears that what he said is true. "Has the person who ran over me been apprehended?" I inquired. " Not yet, but the investigation in your case is ongoing; don't worry, your boyfriend never stops seeking justice," he replied cheerfully. I agreed by nodding. Despite my confusion, I was gradually receiving answers to my questions. Kheed and I also talked for a long time, which I thought was very nice. Because I don't feel awkward around him, it appears that I'm close to him before I have an accident. He's entertaining to be around. There are no dull moments. Actually, we were already filling the entire room with laughter. "Oh, especially when you see Gransil, she's one funny person to be with," I frowned. "Who exactly is Gransil?" " Ahmm... She's the boss's grandmother. Your boyfriend's guardian," he said looked stunned. "Does she know who I am?" It didn't respond right away. "No?" "Honestly, I don't know yet; you're very private about your love life, so I'm not sure if you've met Gransil yet," he sighed. I nodded in response. Yes, he is correct. After all, they won't know everything that happened in our lives as lovers. "But don't worry, you'll get to know her as well; especially when she finds out her grandson has a girlfriend, she'll rush home and meet you, and I'm sure you'll get along as well," he said, smiling again. I nodded, eager to learn who he was referring to. Meanwhile, the two young men who came out quietly looked around. Seeing a smattering of Asano's men in the area. They were able to track them no matter how hard they misled them. "What should we do?" Lucas questioned the young man beside him. "There are a lot of innocent people here, and a lot of them will be affected." "Just act normal. We won't make a move," Luther said, unconcerned. "What? Don't you know who's watching us? It's Asano!" "That's why. They're Asano; they won't do anything that will bring shame to their name." "What do you mean?" Lucas asked, still perplexed. Luther pointed out the window to a group of reporters outside the gate as well as other locations near where they are staying. "There's a lot of media all over the place; what do you think will happen if they try to hurt us?" Only then did Lucas realize what the young man was saying. The enemy is unable to act, especially with the media present. They and other well-known mafia figures are terrified of being exposed. "How are we going to get out of here? Samantha and her mother might get in trouble," Lucas inquired once more. Before speaking, the young man thought for a moment. "They must remain with us... Bring them home...."
