Secret to the Crescent moon

In the united states there are several national forests. It's just that my pack happens to be located right by one of them. Every so often I can go in to the forest and explore, there are many different trees, flowers and animals. My name is Charlie and this is one of my favourite places to be. Once a week I get a day off from cleaning, cooking, serving people but mainly I spend my time serving the leaders of the town. Right maybe I should explain, I live in a town called Deerlodge and when I say leaders they are the Alpha's family. The Alpha is the leader of the crescent moon pack that inhabits Deerlodge. The pack is small but strong, I'm 17 and an orphan. I don’t know who my parents are but I get told I’m lucky because the Alpha family took pity on me by letting me live in their house. By the age of 11 I was able to cook most foods they requested and cleaned the entire house. I've never been to school and the only time I had asked they all laughed at me. As you can guess I am the lowest on the food chain in this pack and their daughter hates me. At the young age of 12 she had snuck into my room in the attic shaving all my hair off. I didn’t complain but when the Alpha and Luna saw me their faces went white before the Luna screamed for me to go and get a wig and to never take it off even when my hair was to grow back. My morning routine consists of putting the black wig over the top of my now lilac-coloured hair which I didn’t mind as I’d only get more questions on why I dye my hair when in reality it naturally grew back that colour. I wear baggy work clothes so I don't gain the attention from others unnecessarily, I'm 5 foot 5 so I’m quite small compared to the others in the pack. People would class my body as the perfect hour glass figure as my hips are curvy but my waist is slim as I don’t get many chances to eat while I work in the house and if that would gain even the slightest bit of extra attention I will try to avoid it as my eyes get me enough for being the colour red. I've always done what has been asked of me even when something hasn’t felt quite right about it. Sorry I’m rambling on, let me take you back to the day my life changed. It was about 2 months ago, I was walking down the corridor going into each of the spare bedrooms to clean them when I hear "this isn't good, she needs to go". I didn’t think anything of it and continued to clean as I’d defiantly get punished for eavesdropping. Walking out of one of the rooms, I nearly walked into a towering body as they told me "Charlie, your needed in the office" nodding my head I made my way towards the office door before entering I decided to knock. "Come in" entering the room I stated politely "you called for me Alpha" keeping my head bowed to show him respect, I heard a small cough. Slightly lifting my head up only to find the whole Alpha family present in the room Alpha and Luna Fisher while their daughter Teddy sat on the opposite couch. The Luna crossed her arms just under her chest making it to look bigger than what it was as she stated "we need you to do something for us Charlie" a frown slowly graced my eyebrows as I groaned under my breath "like anything is new there" not realising they heard what I had said a growl shook the walls to the room. Looking back down to the floor I forced my body to flinch when I heard "SHOW SOME RESPECT" grinding my teeth I bowed my head slightly lower showing them I had given into the Alpha command. I waited for the tension to dye down in the room but before I could say anything the Alpha Spoke up "Charlie we have an issue, one of the Alpha's has requesting Teddy's hand in marriage in exchange for a peace treaty". Still looking at the floor I was becoming very confused that was until I heard them continue "you are going to take her place" my head shot up so fast I thought I'd get whip lash, looking at all three of them I couldn't tell if they were joking or totally serious. That was until the Luna and Teddy gained evil smirks on their faces "Why am I to take her place, Just refuse the offer" the Alpha shot up from his chair growling "YOU WILL TAKE HER PLACE AND WILL ASK NO QUESTIONS" clenching my hands at my sides trying not to growl back "why? I don’t want to" before I knew what had hit me I was pinned against the door by my throat, grabbing hold of the wrist I heard "your only a slave, you will do as your told and you will replace me". Clenching my jaw shut I looked Teddy right in the eyes causing her to flinch back releasing my throat, pretending to fall to the floor to make her think she had imagined the strength in my eyes she didn’t mutter a single word. Getting back to my feet I looked out of the window before questioning "which pack is it?" there was a loud growl but this time I didn’t force myself to flinch or turn away I just stated "it's my only question". The Luna tutted at me before spitting out "you’re a Demanding Little Wrench". The Luna turned away while the Alpha sighed out "you'll be going to the Demon Tooth pack" all the colour drained from my face as I stated back "the Demon Tooth pack, the most ruthless pack and if they find out that I’m not Teddy they will kill me" a sharp pain graced my cheek when I heard "HOW DARE YOU ADDRESS ME AS TEDDY IT IS MISS TO YOU" snapping my head back towards her, she flinched as I shouted back at her "I AM THE ONE GIVING MY LIFE TO SAVE YOURS DON’T HIT ME" the next thing she started to whimper when I received another slap across that face "DON'T YOU DARE RAISE YOUR VOICE TO YOUR FUTURE LUNA, SHE IS 18 AND WILL SOON BE TAKING OVER THE PACK" it only just registered that I had just shouted at her so I bowed my head not in fear or submission. Their commands don’t work on me but I didn’t want to argue anymore as it wasn’t getting me anywhere when I heard the Alpha speak up "we will be sending you off in a week, now go to your room" he pointed towards the door giving me permission to leave. Bowing my head while my teeth were gritted I walked out of the office forgetting the cleaning. Speeding off down the corridor, I made my way to my bedroom, slamming the shutter closed I flung my body on the mattress before burying my face in my pillow letting out a frustrated scream.
