Feeling the air grow cold I looked up and the old man's eyes looked angry "And What Circumstances Are They?" The aura seemed to affect everyone close by but not me. Smiling at him I stated "the arranged marriage you requested" there was a loud growl before I was pinned to the car by my shoulders. A pain resonated throughout my body causing me to catch my breath and close my eyes only to open them when I heard a deep gravelly voice by my ear "It Wasn't Our Idea Princess, your dad is the one who Begged for us to take you". The young man moved slightly away where I was able to meet his grey eyes that looked almost silver, caught in him gaze he questioned "why the contracts? I'm sure everyone thinks you're pretty without them" putting my hands on his chest I pushed him away. Looking back at the Alpha I started "I'm sorry for my rudeness Alpha, my parents said that you had requested the marriage and wouldn't be swayed" he seemed content with my reply as he walked inside sitting "Follow Me Teddy" walking up the stairs I tripped on the dress several times, the last time I groaned to myself. Finally reaching the doors I walked into the foyer that had a wooden table below a chandelier with stair cases on each side, the detail in the room was breath-taking when I heard "hurry up slow poke".
The guy from earlier was at the top of the stairs waiting for me, I didn't have a choice but to remove the shoes and scrunch the dress to one side as I climbed the stairs quickly this time without tripping "the princess can run" I continued to walk down the corridor "may I ask why you call me princess?" He stopped in his tracks while looking at me mouth hung open "are you telling me you don't know what people say about you" tilting my head to the side "I'm sorry I don't know what you're talking about" he looked me up and down before he started to explain "people say that you get what you want, all you have to do is ask, if not then you demand it of them, you've never worked a day in your life and that your personality is worse than the wicked witch of the West". As he was listing all of these off I couldn't help but agree, that was Teddy but not me. Standing in front of him I just stated "you shouldn't believe everything you hear" he shook his head "that's true but I've met Teddy before, she had different eye and hair colour to you but who am I to say" I didn't know they had meet before this changes everything. Then the thought crossed my mind "by the way you know my name but I don't know yours" he continued walking "Jeremy" he mumbled.
A smile graced my face "well it's nice to meet you Jeremy, is it you that I'm arranged to marry" a heavenly chuckle hit my ears before he replied "oh no that honour belongs to my brother but he's currently away but I will warn you he won't take favourably to this being set up". I started to follow him again while questioning "why is that?" He looked at me over his shoulder "he doesn't know about it plus he always had a thing for the little girl that used to follow you around, she had those same red eyes but she had light blond hair the looked pink in certain lights, I thought she or her family put highlights in it even at her young she" I froze to the spot thinking how do they remember me "you mean Charlie, her hair wasn't dyed in fact she lost her hair at the age of 12 on top of that she has no family she's just a servant" all I'd done was state what the real Teddy always used to say to me but Jeremy seemed angry by what I said. He stepped closer to me until there was barely any space when he spat "It Doesn't Matter What Role They Hold If They Are Part Of Your Pack They Are Family" tears started to form in my eyes, I just turned around before asking "right which room is mine?" He huffed at me before Alpha Thompson's voice thundered through the corridor "IT'S THIS WAY" Jeremy visibly flinched whereas I just rolled my eyes and continued to walk.
I finally reached the door where the Alpha was stood outside "this will be your room" he opened the door letting me walk in admiring the room. Decorated with forest greens, browns and the occasional maroon. The bed was located in-between two ceiling to floor windows showing the view of the trees outside, there was a walk-in closet and an ensuite. All I could say was "wow" when I heard "I know it's not as big as your used to but it's all we have at the moment" I turned to see Jeremy instead of Alpha Thompson. Shaking my head, I stated "no this is more than I ever needed thank you" he raised an eyebrow at me quietly, tilting my head I asked "what's the matter?" He shook his head "nothing I'm sure it's just my imagination, your bags will be up shortly in the meantime your free to explore the house and gardens my brother should be back in the next few days" bowing my head I was then left in the room alone. Walking over to the windows I felt drawn to the trees swaying in the wind. A knock bought me out of my own mind I stated "coming" jogging over to the door, as soon as i opened it a young girl carried in my luggage bag "is this all of your stuff?" My cheeks started to turn red as i nodded "yes i didn't want to bring much with me" she rolled her eyes at me.
Smiling back at her "thank you for bring my bag up" she flinched a bit before she bowed her head and ran out of the room. Taking my bag over to the bed, I took out a pair of jeans and a jumper before making my way over to the bathroom to get changed. Once out of the horribly tight dress I brushed my teeth before walking down the corridor in hopes of bumping into someone who could tell me the way to the library if they had one, that was until a door slowly opened. Taking a few steps, I placed my hand on the handle when I heard "father were have a problem" I stopped in my tracks when someone replied "I know we do, we've been duped" I became confused as to what they meant, that was until a third voice interrupted. A female stated "I don't know who she is but she is not Teddy Fisher", a gasp escaped my mouth and I quickly ran away from the door towards what I'd hoped was the door to the garden. Opening the door, what appeared was a kitchen in immaculate condition but sadly I didn't have time to admire the interior so I continued to the back door showing the garden I felt freedom for the first time in a long time. That was until I was pushed to the wall, I whimpered then heard "where do you think you're going?".
