The night was too still. Even the wind seemed afraid to move beneath the moon’s gaze. I could feel her watching. Cold, Silent and Furious. Ronan’s oath had broken something ancient, something that had never been defied. And now, the Moon Mother was coming. We stood in the ruins of the sacred clearing, where he had sworn himself to me just hours before.
