Aliyah
The morning was chilly and damp when Aliyah made her way inside. She was growing used to sleeping in the car, but the stress of not knowing if anyone would show up in the middle of the night kept her from getting a good night's rest.
To steer her mind from such thoughts, Aliyah finally contacted a plumber to take a look at the upstairs bathroom, and then she finished typing up the contract on her phone. She read it over twice, then called the mayor to let him know she sent it. He replied quickly saying he'd print it off and would like her to sign the hard copy.
It sounded as though Gatlin was on his best behavior, so Aliyah agreed to make a quick trip to come to sign the paperwork. She wasn't sure when Neo would arrive to help her with the couch, so she planned to be back quick
