With one girl on each side, they managed to get Neo to Raz's kitchen table. She sent Aliyah off to get more towels and a pillow for Neo's head.
Neo had grown nauseous from the loss of blood and probably from the pain, too.
Eventually, Raz gave Neo some pills for the pain. Aliyah watched Raz work easily over Neo's shoulder. She removed the bandage and unpacked the gauze from the wound. It must have been deep. She sterilized it again and began the stitches.
When she finished, she explained that he would need to clean it daily and keep it dry. He would need to follow up with her every few days so she could ensure it wasn't infected and that he still had mobility in his shoulder.
Aliyah helped Neo off the kitchen table and supported him all the way to Raz's couch. “You need to rest for a
