Chapter 34:
I sat with Sapphire in the backyard of the packhouse soaking up some of the late summer sun. I felt as if I had lost my olive skin tone and was sickly pale. Sapphire had convinced Chase and Jared to let us come out in the sunshine with the kids. Chase was playing with Lillyan, Anthony, Rosealy, and Tyson while Tara and Jacob slept in a portable bassinet next to Sapphire and me as we rocked in the rocking chairs on the back porch.
“Come on Em relax that's what we are out here for to relax and soak up some Vitamin D. You need some color back and you need a stress reliever. Nature usually helps calm you and give you peace of mind. So relax and let nature soothe you.” Sapphire grabbed my hand and squeezed gently with a smile.
I sighed and laid my head back in the chair closing
