Chapter 39:
“Quiet in the courtroom!” The Werewolf Councilman called the room to order.
I sat between Jared and Chase yet again with Sapphire on the other side of Chase with a fully healed Leo next to her. I had been released from the pack hospital last night and Leo was released early this morning. Since we all were okay to attend the sentencing of Jasper, Jared gave the councilmembers the go ahead to pass their verdict. Jasper sat at the table with a smug smirk on his face. He really thought they were going to let him off with a slap on the wrist because he was previously King. Jade told me if they tried to let him off easy she had a trick under her sleeve for such an instance.
