CHAPTER 1: DRAGON FIRE

***HARPER MANSION***

"There are many academies that specializes in the training of students for the purpose of protecting the world. They include; Redvile Academy, Legacies , Supreme High. Redvile Academy train all kinds of species, Legacies Academy train only the magic users from Aetherly and Nemorsa while Supreme High train those from Vortexia and Silver scale. All three academies were founded in Aetherly which is the largest, strongest and most developed country in the world. So Clara, which of these academies would you like to attend?" said a lady in her mid thirties "Honestly mom I can't choose from the three" Clara a teenage girl with long red hair and brown eyes replied and Mrs Harper, her mom gave her a blank look which made Clara chuckle "Just kidding mom, it's Redvile Academy duh!!!" Clara said in an excited tone and her head. "Okay I'll go make the preparations for your admission" her mom said and left while Clara screamed in excitement "I'm finally gonna be attending my dream school" as she climbed up the stairs leading to her room. On getting there she lays on her bed, picks up her phone and stares at a picture. It was a picture of her, her mom and a man who has red hair just like her she gently touches the face of the man and a sad smile appeared on her face "Dad I kept my promise, I'm finally going to Redvile Academy, I really wish you were here to witness it" she said and closes her eyes. Before she knew it she fell asleep.

***REDVILE ACADEMY***

Principal's Office

The principal, Mrs Hailey could be seen on her desk going through admission forms when she came across Clara's. The girls profile really caught her attention

Age: 16

Nationality: Vortexian

Ability: Dragon Fire

Level: 0

"Hmm it's been a while since I came across anyone who possess the dragon fire" Principal Hailey muttered placing her thumb and index fingers on her chin "She would be a great addition to the Amazons" she said "But unfortunately her level is too low, guess I have a lot of work to do" she mutters taking Clara's file and putting it in a different file cabinet. She continues going the registration forms and within a few hours she was done. She stood up form her sit and decided to take a stroll round her institute.

***Hallway***

The hallway was almost empty as only a few students had returned from their one week break. "Miss Diane" principal Harper called after a young teacher "Yes principal Harper" miss Diane answered "Are there any spare rooms in the girls dormitory?" principal Hailey asked and miss Diane nodded positively "Yes but..." "But what?" principal Hailey asked "But unfortunately the only dorm room available is the room Rainer resides in and I don't think anyone would be comfortable living with her" miss Diane said and principal Hailey sighed "She'll just have to endure till next semester" principal Hailey says and miss Diane nods "Umm ma'am if you don't mind me asking who is going to be staying in the dorm" miss Diane asked "The new student that will be joining us after the break" principal Hailey answered which shocked miss Diane, because Redvile Academy only accepts new students at the beginning of the semester and not within the semester, "Okay ma'am" miss Diane walks away without asking any further questions while principal Hailey resumed her stroll

Junior Dormitory

The Amazons are a group of the strongest students in Redvile Academy. There are three ranks in Redvile Academy which are; The Juniors, the Semi seniors and Seniors each rank has their own sss member. The Amazons have their own dormitory which is sited far away from the original dorm, it was huge and more luxurious than the original dorm. The junior sss consisted of nine students which include; Axel, Xander, Oscar, Raymond, Wyatt, Romona, Pearl, Meredith and Alexa. The door to the girls room flew open and an angry Romona marched in she's a pretty girl with grey hair, black eyes adorable pink lips "Who made the great Romona angry" Alexa said in a mocking tone causing Romona to glare at her "Watch your tone snitch or else I'll..." "Or else you'll want?" Alexa cut in with a daring voice angering Romona the more, she rushed towards Alexa with the intention of attacking her but Meredith and Pearl stopped her before she could get any closer to Alexa "Chill girl, you don't want to get into trouble again" Meredith said and Alexa chuckled before walking out of the room "Urgh I hate her so much" Romona said refering to Alexa and sat on her bed, the room was large enough to contain about ten people but it was only for the four of them. "Who made you so angry" Pearl asked but Romona ignored her question "Am I not beautiful?" Romona asked as she stared at her reflection in the mirror "Of course you are, you could pass as the most beautiful girl in this Academy" Meredith said and Romona smiled proudly, she knows how beautiful she is but just wanted to hear it from someone else "Now are you going to tell us why you were angry?" Pearl asked again " I told Axle how I felt about him" Romona said "And?" Meredith asked "He walk away and acted like he didn't hear a single word I said" Romona said "That's sad Pearl said as Romona walked into the bathroom to shower. Alexa walked in the very moment the bathroom door was shut and both Pearl and Meredith glared at her, she ignores their glares sits on her bed and starts typing on her phone. After few minutes Romona comes out all dressed up, she leaves with Meredith and Pearl but not before glaring at Alexa

*** Dorm room 57 (Rainer's room)***

Rainer a teenage girl with long black hair could be seen seated on the floor surrounded by candels. Her eyes could not be seen as as a blind fold was tied around them. She was practicing her conjuration magic but was interrupted by a knock. She ignored it and continued what she was doing but louder than the last, she snapped her fingers and the door opened on it's own and principal Hailey stepped in "What do you want Hailey" Rainer asked without stopping the spell "Just wanted to inform you that your new roommate will be arriving soon, I guess you already knew that" principal Hailey said "If that is all I would appreciate it if you left" Rainer said and principal Hailey turned to leave " By the way, how would you..." " Leave Hailey, before I do something I'll regret" Rainer cut in and principal Hailey sighed before leaving. The room's door closed on it's own and she resumed the spell.

***OUTSIDE***

" How did it go" miss Diane asked principal Hailey. " She didn't object to it"principal Hailey answered " Well, that's good. Rainer is a student of Redvile Academy but how come I have never seen her attend classes with the other students" miss Diane asked "Rainer is a powerful young lady and a dangerous one, it's too risky to let her have classes with the others. She and a few others like her have their own special classes" principal Hailey said "But..." "Enough with the questions Diane, I would like to believe that you have other things to be doing right now" principal Hailey cuts in and walks away leaving miss Diane " Why is she always so secretive?, or does she not trust me" miss Diane muttered and walked away too.
