CHAPTER 2: "ACCEPTED"

***HARPER'S MANSION 7PM**

Clara and her mom were in the living room watching TV when her mom received a phone call, she stood and walked away to the kitchen and Clara focused on the TV. After a few minutes her mom came back to the living room with a huge smile plastered on her beautiful face "Honey, I've got good news" her mom exclaimed "Mom what's it?" Clara asked "So I submitted your admission form and the principal said you would be resuming tomorrow" Mrs Harper (Clara's mom) said and Clara screamed out in excitement and ran upstairs "Honey where are you going?" Mrs Harper asked "To pack my stuff, maybe if I finish up early we could leave today" Clara said and her mom heard the room door shut. Mrs Hailey just smiled "My baby's finally going to Redvile Academy I'm so happy for her" she sat on the couch in the living room and resumed watching the movie before she knew it she fell asleep.

***CLARA'S ROOM***

Immediately after running into her room and shutting the door Clara, rushed to her wardrobe after grabbing an empty travel luggage. She opens the wardrobe and begins stuffing different clothes into the travel luggage, after packing her clothes she packs some shoes and assessories along with some of her favorite novels and some educational books along with her phone and laptop. After packing up the stuff she'll be needing, she zips the travel luggage and places in the corner of the room. Few moments later she runs down the stairs to the living room only to find her mom sleeping peacefully on the couch she walked up to the couch with the intention of waking her but later changed her mind, she didn't want to disturb her mom. It's been a while since she(Mrs Harper) had some time to rest. Ever since Clara's dad died, her mom had been doing everything she could just to make sure that she was happy and comfortable. Even after they became wealthy, her mom never took a break or rested for even a second, she still worked as hard as possible but she also never failed to to spend quality time with her daughter and also shower her with love and attention. She made sure to do everything and anything she could to ensure that Clara was happy and for that reason and many others Clara loved and treasured her mom so much. Clara went to her mom's room and picked the duvet which was folded neatly and placed on the middle of the bed, she went back to the living room with the duvet and covered her mom with it. " I love you mom" Clara said and pecked her mom on the head, she made sure to position her mom in a way that she would not fall if she turned in her sleep. After that she stared at her mom lovingly before heading to her room. On getting there she went into the bathroom where she brushed and had her night shower. After which she got dressed in her PJs and lays on the bed thinking about how life would at Redvile Academy. After about thirty minutes she finally falls asleep

Next day

Clara woke up as early as 6:00am , she rushed out of bed and ran into the bathroom room where she brushed,flossed and showered. She got dressed in a red knee length dress , the dress was beautiful and simple at the same time. She picked her travel luggage up from where she had left it last night. She stares at her reflection in the mirror and smiled satisfied at what she saw. she was beautiful and she knew it. After a staring at her reflection for a while she leaves the room. She goes down the stairs and finds her mom all dressed up but she held a sad expression on her face." Mom what's wrong"Clara asked, she was now standing in front of hermom who sighed. "Nothing is wrong sweetie,I just thought that we could spend some time together before we leave but since you're so excited to leave I guess we should get going" Mrs Harper said sadly but covered her sadness with a smile which Clara knew was fake. " Mom we don't have to leave right away,how about we have breakfast at our favorite restaurant and go shopping before you drop me off at the academy "Clara said and Mrs Harper smiled happily "Let's go the"Mrs Harper said and mother and daughter walked out together holding hands. They got to the garage and entered one of the many cars,after putting Clara's luggage in the trunk they drove out of the garage and headed to the restaurant.

***RAINER'S ROOM***

Rainer sat on her bed thinking about how she was going to tolerate her new roommate. She hated being around people but now she would be with one. "Isn't there someone else this new girl could share a room with" she asked herself and sighed. Her room was practically dark, only one candle was lighted and placed on the bedstand, not like she needed the light anyways after all she wouldn't see a thing even if all the light in the world was brought to her room. She stood up from bed and her pet raven flew to her "Lead me to the bathroom" she said "Okay misstress" the bird responded and helped her get into the bathroom. Red (her pet) has been with her for years and using her powers she was able to give it the power to communicate and the bird has been helping her move around since then. She removes her PJs and stands in the shower she washes her self and puts on a black dress which was picked out by Red alongside a black piece of clothing which she would be using as a blind fold. After dressing up she turned facing Red "Let's go to the cafeteria I'm hungry" she said "Let's go misstress, you look good by the way" Red said and she made her way out of the room with Red on her shoulder. With his help, which was not really needed since she already counted the steps needed to get there, they arrived at the cafeteria and all eyes landed on them. When they got in the other students started whispering things among themselves, but Rainer couldn't care less. She was directed to an empty seat by Red and a cafeteria worker immediately came to take their order. The other students were still staring at her as if they were seeing her for the first time which was true because Rainer never left her room, only for late last strolls and by that time every one had already gone to bed by that time, her special trainings were mostly during the night too since her powers were more effective at night than it was during the day." What may I get you"the waitress asked politely but almost passed out when Red said "Bread and tea for my mistress and steak for me". That was the first time in her life she had ever heard a bird talk, she managed to put herself together after a few seconds and went to get what they ordered. Most of the students had stopped staring at Rainer and Red long ago and were now focused on their meals while those who were still staring had witnessed Red talking but were not too shocked because

they had already been taught that with magic you could do any thing but only few of them actually knew how to make animals talk. After few minutes the waitress came back with a tray containing Rainer and Red's meal she dropped it on their table and walked away. Rainer ate slowly but was almost done when Romona, Pearl and Meredith walked into the cafeteria with Alexa trailing behind. Romona saw Rainer sited on their seat. She walked angrily to the table and hit her hand on the table causing it to fall apart " Get up"Romona commanded
