CHAPTER 3: GHOSTED

"Get up"Romona commanded and Rainer stood in an attempt to leave but Pearl pulled her back by grabbing her hand " Where do you think you're going, we are not done talking to you"Pearl said and Rainer chuckled darkly" Courageous... but weak"Rainer said in a low hoarse voice" Who do you think you are calling weak blindy, I'm one of the strongest members of the Amazons"Pearl said and Romona pushed her (Rainer) roughly, some other student would have fallen but Rainer didn't. Rainer badly wanted to beat these girls in to a b****y pulp but she did not want to get into trouble so once again she turned to leave but that only angered Romona. Romona pulled Rainer closer and landed a hard slap on her cheek and everyone in the cafeteria gasped, some where even recording what was happening on their phones. The impact of the slap caused Rainer's face to turn in the opposite direction. Rainer looked up slowly and although it was faint the girls could have sworn they saw her eyes glow red. Romona was still trying to process what she just saw when she received two heavy punches from Rainer and everyone in the cafeteria gasped as they watched Romona fall to the ground unconscious. " Romona !!!!!!!" both Pearl and Meredith yell fearfully at the same time and rush to her. " Romona wake up"Pearl said taping her face softly but repeatedly " Lets take her to the clinic"Meredith said and both Pearl and Meredith lifted Romona off the ground gently and rushed her to the clinic while Rainer walked out of the cafeteria with Red on her shouldeir. After a few minutes of walking silently with Red Rainer arrived at her room only to find principal Hailey standing in front of the door with her arms folded and eyes closed in anger she took a deep breath before opening her eyes and facing Rainer with an angry look "I sense anger and it seems to be coming from you Hailey" Rainer said and that made principal Hailey's anger double "It's principal Hailey to you young lady" she said "And of course I'm angry, the first time you decide to leave your room during the day one of my best students gets rushed into the clinic unconscious and her friends said you started the fight, what is the meaning of that?, I know that you hate people but that doesn't give you the right to go around hurting them for no good reason" principal Hailey added yelling and Rainer's face turned cold "You are to apologise to Romona as soon as she regains her consciousness, is that understood?" principal Hailey said "So you aren't even going to consider hearing my part of the story?" Rainer asked "There is nothing you can say that would make me change me change my mind I've known you since you were a kid and I know what you are capable of" principal Hailey said "This is exactly why I hate humans, they are always so quick to judge. And if you really know me like you claim to you would know that I have never apologised to any one before and I don't plan on doing that anytime soon" Rainer said and walked out on principal Hailey. The principal sighed and walked away angrily. Rainer sat down on her bed immediately after shutting the door. She was a little bit disappointed at principal Hailey for thinking she would attack a person for no good reason and at her not even wanting to her own part of the story but she brushed the feeling off. "Are you alright misstress?" Red asked when he sensed that something was wrong with her, he was just not a pet but a best friend so he could easily tell when something was wrong with her "I'm fine Red at least now that I know you still care" Rainer said patting Red's head. Red was the only thing she loved and he was her only family she would kill any one that attempted to hurt him without hesitation, she would even sacrifice herself to save him, that's how much she valued the bird. "How do you plan on getting rid of the new girl?" Red asked "I do not have any intention of hurting her, L will only be chasing her out of this room if she becomes a nuisance" Rainer replied as she laid flat on her bed "Red, read me that horror novel from last night, I would like to fall asleep" Rainer commanded and Red did as he was told without complaining, he flew to the mini book shelf and picked up one out of the many horror novels and spell books that were arranged neatly on the shelf and flew back to Rainer. He stood on the bedstand and opened the book and read the long horror novel to his misstress Rainer. Halfway through the book Rainer was already fast asleep and Red closed the book, flew to her and covered her body with a duvet. He untied her blindfold and kept it on the bedstand. He flew and laid on a comfortable black pillow and in no time he was also sleeping peacefully.

***ROAD TO REDVILE ACADEMY***

Clara and Mrs Harper had already had breakfast at their favorite eatry and had already gone on a shopping spree as planned and were currently in Mrs Harpers car and on their way to Redvile Academy. They were chatting about random things until they finally arrived at the huge entrance gate leading to the academy. The large gates of the academy began opening slowly on it's own, when it had opened large enough for the car to pass through, Mrs Harper was about to drive in but Clara stopped her "Umm... mom if you don't mind, I was thinking I could walk the remaining distance, you know so I could start getting familiar with the environment" Clara said while playing with her fingers and Mrs Harper turned off the car "That's s great idea honey mother daughter time for us" Mrs Harper said while undoing the seat belt, she opened the door slightly "Mom wait!" Clara half yelled and her mom hurriedly closed the door and looked around. "honey what's wrong?"Mrs Harper asked,"umm,mum please don't take this the wrong way but I would like to take the remaining distance... alone"Clara said and Mrs Harper's happy expression changed to a sad one "Okay darling let me get your luggage" Mrs Harper said and one could sense the sadness in her voice she got out of the car and Clara slowly got out of the car too "Take care of yourself" Mrs Harper said and handed Clara the luggage, Clara slowly collected the travel luggage from her mom "I will mom, goodbye" Clara said and started walking away slowly and Mrs Harper just stood there. She watched her only daughter walk away from her without saying a proper goodbye, tears built up in her eyes and she tried blinking them away Clara suddenly stopped walking and turned around she was now facing her mom and she saw tears rolling down her mom's eyes as she ran back to her mom and gave her a really warm but tight hug "Mom I'm going to miss you so much" Clara said "I'm going to miss you too baby, I'll make sure I call every morning and evening each day, study hard okay" Mrs Harper said "Yes mom I will" Clara said as she broke the hug and Mrs Harper wiped her tears with a smile on her face "You have to get going before it gets dark" Mrs Harper said and Clara nodded "Goodbye mom, I will call you when I get there and finish settling in" and Mrs Harper hugged her one last time before letting her go. Clara arrived at the academy after few minutes of walking and she couldn't believe her eyes, the building was huge even bigger than she expected it to be, students could be seen in front of the building, some were just returning from the break while others were hanging out with friends. Clara proceeded to the building and opened the huge door leading inside and once again she doubted her sight. There were portraits of important people and best students hug on the walls and the walls were decorated with vases of beautiful flowers, as she walked around the hall people kept giving her weird looks which she ignored and kept wandering around until she found the principals office. She was about knocking when another hand grabbed hers and she swiftly turned around and bumped into a hard chest, she looked up and her face landed on a cute guy she has never seen in her entire life. From his long shoulder length green hair to his adorable blue eyes and those prefect red lips and spotless skin. Clara couldn't help but get lost while staring, the hot guy snaps his fingers in her face bringing her back from her thought "You must be Claramond the new girl he spoke and his voice sounded so melodic in Clara's ears that she almost found herself drooling over it but she pulled herself together "Yeah that's me but I would prefer it if you called me Clara, what's your name?" Clara asked "Umm Xander" he said and that was when he realized that he was still holding Clara's hand so he quickly let go "The principal is not around right now but she kept me in charge of showing you around Xander said and Clara nodded "But first of all could you talk me to my room so I could drop my stuff" Clara said refering to her luggage and the guy gave her a small booklet "It contains your room number and the rules of the school" Xander said and Clara opened the booklet "Room 57" Clara muttered "So are you going to..." Clara couldn't complete the rest of her statement because as she looked up she found herself standing in the hallway alone, Xander had left her to find her way alone "Urh curse that guy" she said angrily and began walking around in attempt to find the girls dormitory. After what felt like hours she finally got to the girls dormitory and made her way to dorm 57.
