Prologue
Kim
I tried out the new sneakers Jane got me and they fit so well so, I wanted to see how they looked on me and went to my full length mirror and I looked cool
I smiled at myself I guess wherever made me want to kill my self vanished with my memories and from the stories I've heard they weren't really the ones you'd miss ,I was about to leave the mirror and go out to show Jane because she wasn't sure I'd like them so I wanted to ensure her I did but ,I got really dizzy and fell to the floor my eyelids became really heavy so I closed my eyes for one second and opened them and I was fine .so I stood up and went down stairs with my original plan is my head but when I reached the living room it was oddly dark and quiet
I could hear my breath and my foot steps even thou they were small and gently ones but then ,I feel down cause something blocked my way and the floor was so wet that my clothes got wet when I fell and I started to panic when my landing surface felt like a huge piece of meat instead of the wooden one
"Jane , are you in there?"
I heard a woman's voice and I was thankful cause I couldn't see anything and the fact that I just entered the house today and knew no conner of it made sit put on the very spot I fell on
"help!"
I shouted from the very top of my lungs
"Jane ? are you alright you know the whole neighborhood heard your scream and now your lights are out ,it's making me worried"
the woman said as I heard her open the door
"help me!" I shouted again but she didn't seem to hear me at all
"Jane please answer me"
she continued saying while opening the door and turning the lights on and then I saw it
The piece of meat I was sitting on was Rick Jane's husband and the water that drenched me was actually blood and the worst part was the sight of Jane's body her eyes were wide open her neck turned till her face was facing her back and one of her eye was nowhere to be seen ,the lady looked at the bodies and then at me our eyes met and she went out screaming ,I sat there I couldn't move I was so frightened that I fainted.
" monster!"
" ma'am calm down"
"no I am no calming down until that little monster is has gone to hell"
"ma'am..."
"she killed them why don't you believe me wasn't she found covered in blood!"
I hear the voice of the lady again but it was fading away I opened my eyes to find a cop looking straight at me and I looked back
"how're you feeling?"
he asked and I didn't answer cause I didn't know
"I see you're not much of a talker, don't worry ok?"
he stepped closer to the table and poured a glass of water came closer to the bed and raising the glass towards me to take it
" you thirsty?"
he asked and I didn't answer nor take the glass so he returned it back to the table
"ok, you're a tough one so I'll start over am Jack and even if you don't say it I already know you're name but, that's not my point "
I kept on staring at him only blinking once or twice
Jack:"my point is did you see the murder of Rick and Jane hamerson"
and then it hit me I started remembering the bodies especially Jane's ,I couldn't breath properly and the words of the lady just kept ringing in my head "monster ,that little monster killed them, she killed them ,she kill..."
I opened my eyes and stood up from bed all wet from the sweat I was producing my breath was shivering as I recall my night mare I look at the clock and it's 3:00am great and it's Sunday and unlike other people I have to go to work.i go take a shower brush my teeth and get ready for another long day but, before I could touch the door knob and open the door to leave someone knocked so I opened it wondering who it might be cause I literally hate human interaction
Miss Anderson:"hey there dear , your up early "
oh no not her again I try to act normal not showing how irritated I am by her presence
Kim:"hi miss Anderson am afraid am a morning person"
I said awkwardly
Miss Anderson:" well that's good but ,I was wondering if you'd be free today and you know. .....escort me the airport to pick up my son "
great this old lady always has favours to ask sometimes I just want to tell her that I've got better things to do but she's too old to even get it
