Adrian made plans to meet with Richard for lunch the next day to address the matter, which was Katie.
"I would like to bring something to your attention, Richard," Adrian started.
"What's the matter?" Richard inquired.
"It's about Katie," he said, feeling uncomfortable. "I think she's coming on to me."
Richard took a deep breath and shook his head.
"I'm aware of that," Richard said.
"You are?"
"Everyone is. It's not new to the staff. She is…a very fierce, very determined woman. She has the tendency to…indulge."
"Why did you assign her to me then?" Adrian asked, taking offense.
"I gave her the benefit of the doubt because you are the boss. Didn't think she'd go that far. Despite her nature, she is actually very good at her job," Richard explained.
