[ BACK STORY OF LUNA ] [ LUNA POV] The day started out normal I as at school in my last class before summer break when I get invited to a party which is out of the normal for me I’m the quiet girl next door I didn’t talk to the popular kids in school so I was surprised when I got invited to the end of school party that the school golden boy Oliver Daniels age 18 its his last party in high school he is off to college. Later that night as I get home, I tell my dad Emilio age 62 retired war veteran and police sergeant for SWAT. “ daddy I’m home I have something to tell you “ yell as I look around for him as I hear him say “ I’m in the living room baby girl “ as I walk into the living room and I give him a hug as I sit down next to him on the couch “ I got invited to an end of school party “ I say with a smile as my dad says “ I’m happy fir you baby girl who’s party is it “ I then say “ it’s Oliver Daniels party daddy” he nods and says “ ok baby girl be safe can call me if anything happens “ I nod and run upstairs too change my clothes I change into a long sleeve black dress with black leggings and combat boots. As I finish getting dressed I get a text from my friend who is giving me a ride to the party once we get there we walk in and dance for a bit before I go and get myself a drink as I move towards the kitchen to do so I bump in to him the school’s golden boy Oliver Daniels as I move back saying “ I’m sorry I didn’t see you “ instead of walking away he says “ no I’m sorry its mt fault I didn’t see you beautiful how about I make you a drink “ I nod as he grabs my hand and pulls me into the kitchen with him as I stand next to him I don’t pay attention as he makes my drink so I didn’t see him put a drug into it before he hands it to me as I drink it without checking it I mean he is the school golden boy nobody has ever said anything bad about him so I trusted him when I shouldn’t he then asked “ how about we go dance” I say “ yea I would love to dance with you “ he then grabs my hand and leads me to the living room where everyone is dancing after dancing for a bit I start to feel dizzy and try to pull away as he see me sway I then pulls me to a bedroom upstairs as I try to fight him because I remember my dad telling me how to tell if I’ve been drugged and I’m feeling like I have been as he gets me in the room I try to scream but he hits me and I fall onto the bed passing out from being to weak from being drugged . [ hours later] [ Luna’s Pov] As I wake up hours later he is already gone as I look around tears coming to my eyes as I look around for my clothes as I find them I get dressed and call my dad to come get me when he picks up I say “ daddy can you come get me I need your help something happened “ as I try not to cry he say “ I’m on my way be outside waiting for me “ as I limp downstairs I here Oliver talking to his friends about what he did to me and how he was planning to come back up to the room and do it again as I see my dad’s car pull up I take off running right past him as he try’s to grab me I pull away and keep going as I get out the front door I hear him yelling for me to come back as he runs behind me he sees my dad’s car in the driveway as he gets to the door my dad steps out of his car as I run around to the other side of the car and get in still feeling dizzy as I get in the car my dad gets in and drives away I say “ daddy I need you to take me to the hospital I was r***d “ as my dad grips the steering wheel harder his knuckles turning white as he nod and drives me to the hospital once we get there he tells the doctor “ my daughter needs a r**e kit done and a drug test to “ as I sit holding myself waiting for the doctor to come in. My dad sits outside making calls to his friends in the police force I hear him say to make sure it’s a female officer that come to talk to me as the doctor walks in ad start the r**e kit and drug test. After they fished, I get dressed in the clothes they give me and I talk to the cop that comes in when I’m fully dressed. [ hours later Luna’s pov] After everyone is done my dad takes me home and tells me to go shower and I hear him make a phone call to my older brother Jamie Wolfgang age 30 he just got out of the military last year and now he lives in New York now he comes home to visit every once in a while, he now works for a friend of his from the military and that is all he will tell us. As I finish my shower an hour later, I scrubbed my skin raw trying to forget what happened to me. The next day my dad gets a call from his friend about the r**e kit and how they have arrested Oliver Daniels and found the drugs on him he climes they aren’t his but his DNA matches my r**e kit and he tells my dad when court is so I can testify against him so he can go to prison for what he did. [ two weeks later Luna’s pov ] As court is going on I find out I’m pregnant I spent hours crying in my bathroom before I tell my dad I walk to my dad’s room and sit next to him and say “daddy I pregnant“ looks at me before saying “you have options on what we can do if you don’t want to keep the baby” I take a minute to think and I realize I don’t want to punish a baby for something it didn’t do its not its fault on how they were made so I ask “daddy will you be mad if I keep the baby it’s not it’s fault on how they came to be “ dad nods and then hugs me. The next day I over hear my dad talking to my brother about what is happening I hear him say “ she pregnant and she is keeping the baby she says she can’t punish the baby for what it so called sperm donor did to her and I hope she has made the right choice for herb and I know that child will have a happy life with Luna as their mom” I smile and rub my stomach hoping that he is right that I make a good mom I do know I will not tell my child how she came to be until they are 18 and can understand I do not blame them for their sperm donor did to me.
