Have you ever given anything to someone, only to be betrayed by the very hands you helped build? I did. My name is Ivy Moon, and my story starts with defiance, rejecting the life my powerful Alpha father designed for me. I followed my heart, choosing love over duty. But that love…it destroyed me.

I left behind wealth and privilege for Austin, a man with nothing but ambition. Together, I made him an Alpha, pouring every ounce of my soul into his rise. I was ready to stand beside him as his Luna, but on the day of my coronation, I learned the unthinkable.

Claire, my servant, my friend, was carrying Austin's child. That same day, I was betrayed, branded a traitor, and left to die in a dark, cold dungeon.

But the moon goddess wasn't done with me. She gave me a second chance, a new body. A new identity and one mission: revenge. I became someone else, hiding in plain sight, a ghost in the palace that once cast me aside.

And then there's Ryker, Austin's trusted Beta. He should have been my enemy, yet he's the only one who sees through my mask.

“Ivy, if what you are saying is true, why trust me?” He asks, his piercing eyes full of doubt. I have no choice but to reveal secrets only the real Ivy would know, and soon, our hatred for Austin binds us in a dangerous alliance.

But as the lines blur between justice and obsession, one question haunts me: Will revenge be enough to heal my broken soul, or will it destroy me all over again?

Would you dare to face the ones who betrayed you?

Chapter One:The Runaway Bride!
Ivy's POV “I will not marry him.” I spat the words out, feeling my hands burn with anger. My father looked at me, his eyes cold, his lips tight with frustration. “What did you just say, Ivy?” His voice was low but sharp, cutting through the air like a blade. “I said, I will not get married to the man you want me to marry.” My words were clear, each one fueled by everything I had been holding inside for years. He took a step closer, his eyes narrowing. “What do you mean by ‘you will not get married to him’? What are you going to do with your life?” His voice cracked, then grew stronger. “You will marry him. That’s final. I chose him for you.” Tears burned at the back of my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. “I don’t care! I don’t want an arranged marriage!” I almost shouted, my hands trembling as I clenched them into fists. “I will not marry him.” My father, the alpha of the pack, threw his head back and laughed bitterly. “You have no say in this, Ivy. It’s done. You will marry him, and that is final.” His eyes burned with the kind of rage I had never seen before. God, I hated this! Why couldn’t he understand? Why couldn’t he see how much this hurt me? I could feel my chest tightening, my heart pounding against my ribs. I looked at my mother. She was sitting there, silent, weak. Her eyes didn’t even meet mine. She had never helped me. She had never stood up for me. Not once. I had never felt love from my father in my life. He's always uptight and always looking perfect, never making me feel loved. He was always cold, like he was made of ice. Maybe that’s what it meant to be the alpha. He had always controlled my life, but not anymore. The only person who ever made me feel loved was my boyfriend. And now, they were taking that away from me. I clenched my jaw. "I will not marry him!" I said again, louder this time. “Enough!” My dad shouted, his voice echoing through the room. Before I could move, two guards rushed toward me, grabbing me by the arms. “Dad, please!” I screamed. “Don’t do this!” But my father didn’t listen. He turned his back to me, his face hard. The guards dragged me away, my feet stumbling as I struggled against their hold. I kept shouting, trying to break free. “Please! Please don’t do this! I’m begging you!” But no one listened. I was thrown into my room, and the door slammed shut behind me with a deafening sound. I rushed to the door, banging my fists against it. “Let me out!” I screamed. “Please! Don’t do this to me!” I sank to the floor, my hands on my knees, crying so hard it felt like my heart was breaking into a million pieces. I heard my mother’s voice from the other side of the door. “Ivy, calm down. Please. Your father... When he’s in a better mood, I’ll talk to him. Just leave it for now.” “You never care about me! You never do! You’re always so weak, always so useless!” I shouted, covering my ears. I hated both my parents so much. I couldn’t even tell how long I sat there, curled up on the floor, my tears staining the cold stone. I didn’t know what to do anymore. Then an ideal hit me; I had to escape. But how? The next few days were the same. My father never came to check on me. My mother never spoke to me. The maids came in only to bring food. And then, it was the day of the wedding. The maids rushed into my room, pulling at my dress, trying to make me look perfect. But I didn’t care about how I looked. My mind was occupied on how I'd escape; I had to get out of here before it was too late. One of the maids smiled at me. “It’s time, Lady Ivy. Your wedding day is here. It’s time to meet your mate.” I wanted to shout. But instead, I kept my face blank, nodding as I stood up, barely able to stand. The dress was heavy, weighing me down, but I didn’t care. I had a plan. I was going to run. I walked out of my room, ignoring the faces of the elders and the guests who stared at me with expectation. The hall was crowded, with all the people in the park; they were here to witness the marriage of the most powerful alpha's daughter. When I entered the room where the ceremony was supposed to happen, I looked at the man in front of me. He looked handsome, but he wasn’t the man I loved. “Do you accept Kelvin Honk to be your mate?” the elder asked, his voice steady. I could feel my pulse quickening. My hands were shaking, but I stood tall. “I do not accept it!” I shouted, my voice shaking with the strength of my emotions. I saw my father stand up from his chair, his face red with anger. I could feel the heat of his gaze burning into me. But I couldn’t care less. I wasn’t going to marry someone I didn’t love. “I will not marry him. I’m leaving,” I said, my voice cold as I turned away. I grabbed my wedding gown, tearing it from my body as I rushed toward the door. “I’m going to meet the one I love,” I whispered to myself, my heart pounding with excitement. Behind me, I could hear my father shouting. “Get her! Don’t let her escape!” But I didn’t stop. I ran. I ran as fast as I could, the cold wind biting at my skin, my breath coming in sharp gasps. I couldn’t stop. And then, I saw it. A car is speeding toward me. I froze. The headlights blinded me for a moment, and for a split second, I thought—was I going to die this way? The car was getting closer. My eyes cl osed suddenly, with my mind swirling with different thoughts. Would my life end this way?
