The vampire border guards, Tilad and Pinto, arrived to find the Dwarf still trapped inside the cone of bamboo poles that surrounded him.
The two vampires wore long black cloaks that dargged along the ground behind them, as they walked up to stand in front of where the Dwarf was trapped.
Tilad then walked forward and peeked into the dome of poles.
"Well, look what the cat dragged in," Tilad said, turning to glance at his partner Pinto, "It's a Dwarf."
"A Dwarf?" Pinto said, rushing forward, then walking around the dome to investigate Quax.
"What in the world could possibly make a Dwarf enter into Vampire territory?" Pinto said.
