Chris was flying forward through the air, passing right over the gaping space that Quax's fireball had made, on the stone path below him. As he flew, he trained his gaze forward towards the other section of the path, carefully anticipating where he was headed to land. He really didn't want to make any mistakes, since he knew missing that target would mean falling down into the endless valley below. His feet were both switching fast back and forth, as he tried everything he could to push himself further forward through the air. Suddenly, as Chris was midair, above the gaping space of the mountain pass, the Olion dark creatures suddenly caught up with him. The dark monsters suddenly appeared from nowhere, flying up and down in the air, and surrounding him in the air above the space below
