Heroes of the Past: Axuuhh World 500 Years ago

Ivan Jessie, I was a normal average kid, average life with my parents, they had normal jobs that pay well, we don't have any issues every once in a while, but we experience hardship sometimes.

My school life is not the most bright, everything that happens for me is relatively standard compared to the other students, which they are very good at what they do, or they just suck at it and most of them become terrible students or bullies.

I, on the other hand, stumbled into an interesting game, I don't normally like hardcore games like RPG, actions, adventures, I only like arcade games and pretty quick to exit games.

I also read novels about fantasy worlds, mythological lores, and anything close to those.

That is why this game, World Of Dura, piqued my interest, it has fantasy elements like monsters, magic, unreal setting like floating islands, and more.

The lore is amazing as well, it is on the same level as mythological lore, there are Gods, apex beings, elemental race, humans who have transcended to inhuman.

Those inhuman are us players, which have multiple classes to choose from.

It's mostly an adventure game, but many players always compete on the battle aspect of it.

I don't like competition and all, since I hate pressure, and I just want to enjoy the thrills of adventure, and battling monsters instead of other players, since players are a lot smarter than A.I monsters who have attack patterns.

But all of that will change as I said at the beginning, I was...

A classmate of mine found out I was playing the game, and...

"Yo, Jessie, I heard you're playing World of Dura, wanna play Battle Dome with us there? "

He asked.

"Uhh... Yes, I do, but I haven't PVP... before, I only play... Singleplayer... "

I said, I am a very shy person.

"What...? You haven't!? Are you a loser? Or you're just a loner? "

He asked insulting me, or maybe he was bullying me.

And after that, they left as they laugh at me, of course, I was so furious.

Not to them, but myself, I don't have a lot of friends, but getting told like that, made me realize that, trying is better than not.

So that's why, the one that would change my life forever, literally.

I tried Battle Dome in World Of Dura, the PVP region of the game.

And I was pretty good, I didn't know I can go up against other players, in terms of my rank after a few weeks in ranked mode, I'm in between it.

I met a lot of players there, and become friends with them, even battling the kid that told me I was a loser, and beaten him in 1v1.

I met 3 of my greatest friends, they helped me and taught me many tricks in PVP, far better, they are in a different class than me, they are very knowledgeable than me.

Who has been playing the game in Singleplayer for about 3 years, and my other friend are better than me who had only played for half a year, we have the same level.

I can beat our other friend, so it's like we counter each other in battle.

They even taught me Base war, which is essentially a defense game, but you control the fighter you choose.

We are unstoppable together, in 3v3 Battle Dome, Base wars, even in the MMO region of it which have real-time Base war, we dominated 10 of the biggest Clans by only having the 3 of us.

They are my greatest allies...

But all fun things always have horrible ones along with them, and very worse ones.

When my friends aren't online, I was pretty confident that I can play Battle Dome on my own.

I could, but one player said he will bet real money in this.

I was nearing my graduation from high school, and mom gifted me a lot of money.

So I thought it was a good idea to bet it, until he bet a million Den, I only have a few thousand, and mom and dad don't earn that amount.

"Can we dial down the amount I only have a few on me? "

I said to my opponent in the Battle Dome.

"It's fine, just pay me later, I'll send you my Moneypal link. "

He said.

He said that and yet.

I was defeated, with a million Den debt.

I didn't tell my parents, of course.

But I didn't know who I was up against, and we are tracked down after a few months of me ignoring it since I thought that.

It was just a game!

They hired swats to arrest my parents, they let my mom go, and stay with me, but they didn't skip my dad, as they put him in a 24 hours work for 3 years.

I told my mom what actually happened, she was very furious at me, but it didn't last for long as she is busy with her work.

Until dad... died of overwork, mom getting fired at her job.

Who knew any kid can torment anyone using a game? Why would rich people spoil their kids to this extreme?

I don't even know who this kid was until I did.

It was my classmate that I defeated in Battle Dome the few weeks that I started playing the PVP region of the game.

His revenge is so extreme.

I didn't think of my actions well, I was having too much fun.

And after a few days, mom looks for a job to get us by, but none accepted her.

We eventually became homeless, as we scrape to garbage and trash for food.

Sleeping on the different roadside every night, being able to eat one time a day, dirty or not

And as time pass, sleeping on the road, mom hasn't woken up since this morning.

I hope she's fine.

I close my eyes one final time, sleeping in this world once more.

I hoped that if I ever die here, I was as strong as my game character, Forcivan.

My only memory of him, a treasure that is taken from me, a strong Bladesmaster, who can not only defeat any monsters, but also other players.

The world is pretty harsh, not gonna lie, it was pretty painful.

Though I remember him cheating in that Battle Dome, the impact of losing really shrouded me...

It was even unbelievable, but after looking at the mirror that they have in this room, I really fused with Forcivan Dragonia.

I'm not used to being this tall, to be honest.

And I did scream like a girl earlier when the maid entered the room, I should really drop my scaredy attitude.

I'm a different person now, and in a different room.

After reading that last chapter of the book about the Ango Kingdom, I really am the Hero like the maid called me.

Anyway, she gave me this shirt, I have pants, and underwear which is extremely unpleasant as to why and how?

But other than that, I should go meet the King, since that's what's requested of me after waking up.

I then left the room after looking at myself in the mirror, since I am now a high definition version of my game character.

And also I never had a body this strong, so I tried flexing to see if bodybuilders really flex like that.

"Miss Maid, I'm ready to meet your King. "

I told the maid that is outside the room.

She's wearing a standard maid outfit and as all maids in the novels I've red before, she's a beauty that cannot be tolerated.

We entered the room after she did, and were greeted with a normal office room, and many books placed on the bookshelf.

And in the middle... is the Miss Informer herself.

Suited with female Tuxedo, Blue color with a red streak in it.

She then stood up, and to my surprise, I don't remember being taller than any woman.

I never grew up after my incident.

"Hello, Sir Hero, I'm Informer Joyce, I am the Advisor of the King, missy, you may leave us, I will take him to the King myself, good work. "

Why do I want to have that? Is that some sort of summoning symptoms?

Though I only have one pain in me ever since I woke up.

I answered.

Probably even back before coming here, I'm always hungry, eating any leftovers from the trash.

She said laughing at what I answered.

We then arrived at the biggest door in the hall yet, and obviously, it was the King's throne room.

"Your Majesty, the Hero is here. "

Informer Joyce said as we enter the throne room.

The King in the middle, and 2 other seats on his side, probably for his queen and his heir or heiress.

With the King's impressive outfit, fit for a King, and me with only shirt and pants.

I was pretty overwhelmed.

Though they do refer to me as the Hero, I may look the part but if anyone here can read my mind, my thoughts cloud it.

"Splendid, Welcome to our Kingdom, Hero, the Ango Kingdom. "

The King said as he stood up and walk towards us.

His words had confirmed my questions, it started to really hit me.

I really am in a different world, I thought I was just dreaming but it's real.

The Kingdom of Ango, with the body of my game character, Forcivan, even if that account was taken from me, I still fused me with the Forcivan I know and cherish.

Boy, I wish my 2 other friends could join me, though, who knows where am I? I may be dreaming or just my imagination running very wild before dying or something.

I do wish I saw mom wake up again before coming here.

"I'm King Artenon Goliath, I may be a strong warrior, but I'm not enough to defeat many monsters, hence I ordered to summon another warrior that is the same as me. "

He explained, introducing himself.

"I get that, I red one of the books in the room I was in earlier. "

I said.

Did I just speak continuously without stuttering? It must be a Forcivan perk.

"I see, what can we call you, Sir Hero? "

He asked me.

"Though one of your maids asked me, I didn't answer due to my stranger anxiety, but you aren't a stranger, you are the King, don't call me Sir Hero, it makes me embarrassed, call me Ivan. "

I said.

I opened the bottle and poured one into my glass.

And drank it, it tasted good, not gonna lie, my first booze is in another world.

I then finished it.

"I promise you, King Artenon, I will save humanity, with all these odds, I will stop God's anger, no matter the cost. "

I declared.

This is now my new life, I will take on the challenge of the world, no matter what it makes me!
