Assessment

"Thank you for the food, King. "

I thanked the King.

I never really had this much food, and if I'm having this much to fill my belly, I should at least work for it and be appreciated.

I stood up as well, he then went close to me, raising his right arm with a ring in his finger.

After looking over it, it was confirmed that there are actually over a million monsters surrounding the kingdom.

It was overwhelming, not gonna lie.

Though it might be multiplied to 3 since this is only the East section of the Walls.

I can see some monsters from afar that aren't attacking the kingdom.

"Those monsters over the horizon, are they not attacking here or they just can't see us? "

I asked the King.

"We are fortunate enough to not have them joining the other monsters here, if they do, the entire side of the kingdom will have the same number of monsters as here in the East Walls. "

He said.

He walked forward to the side of the Walls and look over the ground below.

"Do you see those warriors over there? "

He said and pointed to the ground.

I looked over and saw about a thousand warriors fighting the monsters in front of the Wall entrance.

They look very strong, they must've been fighting them for a long time now, and their aura and mana levels are very intense.

"Those are the Main warriors of the kingdom that take care of this amount of monsters each time there are this many monsters around. "

The King explained.

They are like the backbone of the kingdom, the ones that are like the S-ranked warriors or something.

And they have produced thousands of them, but they can only last temporarily against these monsters.

Worst case scenario they age or deteriorate their skills slowly as they got busted continuously fighting these types of monsters.

God didn't offer any mercy, he instantly summoned his strongest monsters and multiplied them to trillions just so that humans perish.

Like Zombie Apocalypse, but the zombies are replaced by these monsters and they don't need to bite humans to produce, God is there to increase it every time.

I saw some warriors come out right in the middle of the whole monsters, am I seeing things?

They all then killed all the monsters after coming out of there.

"Why are there some warriors in the middle? Where did they come from? "

I asked surprised by the occurrence.

Those are actually smart, though they might've taken a certain amount of time to dig through there, it is not really helpful if only the assassins are going in there.

Whether if we can at least reduce this number to half is what I'm aiming for, for now.

I can't be too cocky and be overconfident I can save humanity if my only goal is to defeat God.

There are steps to doing so according to all the books and novels I've red before.

But knowing you're enemy first isn't the first step, I arrived in this world, with different common sense, and different thoughts.

The world is vastly different from mine, so as my physical self.

I inherited the body of Forcivan, and my real self hasn't experience battles to this level.

I haven't even punched anyone in my life, so to find out whether or not I am capable of doing so is my first step.

Am I strong enough both physically and mentally? Am I just very confident and in actuality, I'm not really strong?

Can I even grow stronger just like in the game here?

I'm getting scared now.

The King said and teleported us back to the castle.

In the middle of the throne room, I stood there, with so many doubts in my head.

"What happened to you, Ivan, did you get scared? "

He asked me with a smirk on his face.

I said very doubtfully but I want to sound it as if I'm confident.

I said.

The King then rushed me, I readied a stance, but he vanished out of my sight.

He's that fast?

I then looked around, sensing my surrounding may not be possible for me, I think.

But when I thought of it, I sensed where The King is.

He's on my right?!

When I looked over to my right where the King is, I saw a fist right in front of my face.

I quickly dodged to the side, but his fist still grazed my side head and was pushed back slightly.

"Impressive response speed, and by the looks of it, your head didn't blow up on my fist, if a normal person tastes my fist in that speed, their head will explode. "

The King praises my dodge.

Any normal person's head will blow up if they got hit by his fist?! Isn't that a little exaggerating!?

Though I felt it, his fist's pressure is so dense.

I hope I can at least strike him once.

"Your speed is incredible that I thought you used your teleportation ring. "

I said with exhaustion and just pure anxiety my heartbeat is increasing.

He grabbed my arm and right punched my gut.

I reacted to the pain.

His fist was very strong and it almost lanced my gut.

But despite the pain, it didn't push me very far, I followed up his gut-punch by pushing away his right arm from my gut.

And left punched his face since he insisted on it.

He then did the same, grabbing my left arm out of his face and right hooked me.

His fist packs a force even though I'm not getting knocked away by it, I feel the impact of his fist every time it hits.

For about half a minute that happens for a while, like two brawlers duking it out on each other.

Until I noticed I'm getting more hits than him.

Am I getting faster?! Though I can't push him back with my punches.

I was slowly getting used to my speed and physical combat that I am not getting any second thoughts about my punches, and not holding anything back.

The King then backed off after he realized I was getting more advantage than him.

We're both tired after that exchange.

Though despite me having the advantage at the end, he still has more punches on me overall.

"Ha... ha... Amazing, in that period, you managed to best me quickly? "

The King compliments me, surprised at my quick progression.

Only 2 minutes have passed, but I managed to get used to close combat that quickly.

Since I thought he's only a pure warrior, his speed and strength say so.

Or maybe there's someone not strong, but skilled since all of the warriors here have been fighting monsters that are stronger than any human being for a long time now.

We then returned to Informer Joyce's office, and the door was opened.

"He's very strong, Joyce, I think you can pair up with him! "

The other lady inside told her.

What are they talking about?

"I don't think so, that's too explicit. "

Informer Joyce told the other lady.

I told her.

If alchemists and witches worked together they can produce powerful mages that can do both those and being a mage, so why haven't they thought of it?

Perhaps their era hasn't caught up yet to creative thinking and intricate strategizing, since most of the buildings and clothing here are very old, compared to the clothes back in my world.

I should use my modern era knowledge to the fullest potential, and since I'm dubbed as the summoned hero, they won't suspect me as some sort of unknown being with unknown knowledge.

Unlike aliens though.

We then moved on to the next area of the castle.

And as we are on the way there, we chatted for a while.

"Have they ever thought of teaching both alchemy and witchcraft before to a mage? "

I asked.

"What's the point? Since both of those skills are useless against monsters like the GA Monsters. "

She questioned my skepticism.

GA Monsters are the term for those monsters? Good to know.

What does GA stand for anyway?

"I don't think so, if a skilled Alchemic Witch were to create a component or potion that can melt or wither GA Monsters instantly, then if we create some sort of trench around the kingdom with it, that helps us with defense easily. "

I explained.

"We did that before, and the decaying body of the GA Monsters mashed with the fluid and got waxed, since then, no Alchemists or Witches have provided good suggestions for the kingdom, though we don't pressure them since we have over ten thousand warriors and mages that are on top of their peers. "

Informer Joyce explained.

That sucks.

"Is that so, then I think lava increases its components when any material is mixed with it, is that possible here? "

I asked.

Since they said that even the decaying corpse of GA Monsters, perhaps lava can help?

I dunno I'm just speculating.
