Chapter 1: A Night Full of Betrayal
Sienna! Help me! I got assaulted at the club!" Sienna Tillman's head was filled with the panicked voice of her closest friend, Juliette Monroe. Sienna ran to the nightclub, fear squeezing her chest. Her heart hammering as she sped through the city, weaving through traffic. What kind of trouble had Juliette gotten herself into? She arrived outside Room 905, which Juliette had texted her. Sienna's heart pounded as she gazed at the nameplate on the door before pushing it open to save her friend. As the door creaked open, she was confronted with complete darkness. Before she could make sense of the situation, a hard hold on her wrist pushed her inside. The door slammed shut behind her, leaving an unsettling echo. "Who are you?" "Let me go!" Sienna's voice quivered as she fought. A gruff and gravelly voice spoke close to her ear, "Stay still, and I'll make it worth your while." As she was forced onto a couch, she felt a flash of panic. Before she could respond, a person appeared over her and pinned her down. She wiggled and fought, but her strength could not compete with his. He kissed her roughly, leaving a peppermint taste on her lips. The stranger's body exuded heat, and her tears flowed easily. She furiously tried to shove him away, but her efforts were unsuccessful. All she could do was suffer through the t*****e as hopelessness engulfed her. Sienna stumbled out of the room an hour later, her clothes rumpled and her hair tangled. Her mind was in turmoil, but her concern for Juliette kept her going. While searching for her phone, she noticed a group exiting through a side entrance. Two people stood out in the faint lighting: Juliette Monroe and her stepsister, Vanessa Tillman. They walked arm-in-arm, laughing and conversing as if nothing had occurred. Sienna was filled with rage as she said, "Juliette!" Their attitudes were smug when they came to a halt and turned around. "You lied to me," Sienna said, her voice quivering with rage. Juliette's lips formed a mocking smirk. "What shall I say? Sienna, you are simply too gullible. It was your fault for falling for it." Vanessa grinned, her voice filled with hatred. "So, how was the gigolo? Was he all you hoped for?" Sienna's realization struck her like a lightning bolt. This was all their setup, not a mistake, a horrible betrayal. It was planned by the two individuals she trusted the most. "You planned this together!" she exclaimed, her voice full of amazement and rage. Juliette's eyes gleamed with hate. "You have no idea how much I despise you. You've always cast a shadow over my life. Tonight, I finally had my retribution." Vanessa's laughter was chilly and piercing. "And now I have all the evidence I need to show Dad that you've been selling yourself at clubs. He'll kick you out for good." Sienna's chest clenched as the weight of their words overwhelmed her. The sorrow of the night's events, mixed with their betrayal, was almost unbearable. "Let's go, Juliette," Vanessa replied, putting her arm around Juliette's. "We don't have time for trash." With one last triumphant glance, the two walked away, leaving Sienna standing there, shattered and devastated. Three days later, the Tillman mansion was filled with rage. "Franklin Tillman, her father, slammed his fist against the table. "So, you turned into an escort just because I didn’t let you study abroad?" His voice was thunderous. "You’ve disgraced this family!" "Dad, I didn't—" Sienna attempted to defend herself, but Franklin cut her off. "Do not lie to me!" He demanded, his face twisted with wrath. "You degraded this family. You're not my daughter!" Amanda, Franklin's wife, sneered from her position on the couch. "Who knows what diseases you brought back? You are a threat to this household." "Dad, please, listen to me!" Sienna pleaded, tears running down her cheeks. But Franklin's stare only intensified. "Pack your things and get out! You are no longer a member of this family." Vanessa smiled as she watched the ruckus from the handrail of the stairs. Everything was going as she had planned. Sienna's hands shook as she packed up her possessions. When she reached the top of the steps, Vanessa blocked her way. "You're leaving, huh?" Vanessa taunted, her tone scornful. Sienna gazed at her, wrath boiling beneath the surface. "What are you planning to do? Hit me?" Vanessa questioned, tilting her head mockingly. Sienna slapped Vanessa across the face without hesitation, and the sound echoed throughout the house. A sharp gasp filled the air. Vanessa stumbled back, clutching her cheek as she let out a theatrical shriek. "Mom, Dad! She hit me!" Amanda raced to Vanessa's side, her voice harsh. "How dare you! Lay your hand on my daughter!" Franklin stormed into the room, his face angry. "Get out, Sienna! You aren't welcome here anymore!" Sienna descended the stairs, her suitcase in hand. Her heart grew cold as she cast one more glimpse at her father, who was clutching Vanessa protectively. It was no longer her home. It had never been. Vanessa’s wicked laughter rang in her ears. She was finally gone. ******************* Five years later, in Stormridge, a knock came at the door of a small apartment. Her hands were covered in jewelry polish. Sienna opened it and found two men dressed in suits. "Can I help you?" she inquired cautiously. "Are you Miss Sienna Tillman?" one of them said. "Yes. Who is asking?" "We represent Old Madam Blackwell. Your mother, Amelia Tillman, once saved her grandson's life. She wants to meet you," the man explained. Sienna’s blood ran cold. Blackwell. A name too powerful to ignore. Sienna's expression stiffened."I apologize, but I am not interested. "Who's at the door, Mommy?" Before they could react, a small voice from within called up. The two men exchanged glances. "You have a child?" one of them murmured. "No one is important," Sienna said, closing the door firmly. Meanwhile, Far away in a villa on a grand estate, a man leaned back in his chair. His fingers tapped against the desk. "Did you find her?" he inquired, his voice harsh. "Yes, Mr. Damien Blackwell. The woman from five years ago sold your watch at a second-hand store," the assistant said. Damien's gaze clouded. "Bring her to me."
