Lydia has been making comments to me here and there all day. She has successfully made me too afraid to see Emrys again right now. Not with all this damn guilt Lydia seemed to muster in me with her words.
I know that my sister didn't mean to make me feel this way. I understand where Lydia is coming from. I was there with her when Kasyn did all his bullsh.it. Both times. I saw how it absolutely destroyed Lydia. And for so much of that, Lydia didn't even know why she felt that way.
That's exactly what I'm doing to Emrys. Keeping him half in the dark. Letting his emotions run him because of the bond. All without telling him the reason.
