46 Hanging on my office wall were citations, from the grateful people of Sydney, and the State of New South Wales. Months had passed, when quite suddenly my much-publicized, and supposedly resolved case suddenly took a very embarrassing about turn. The circumstances were so extraordinary that I was embarrassed enough, and I will confess, unwise enough, to try and keep it out of the media. I had been feted and honoured by the Premier, the Lord Mayor, and seemingly everyone else, and no one could have been more surprised at this about face than myself. I immediately advised the Commissioner, who would have rushed to tell the Minister, and I could just imagine how the Premier would have reacted. As a result, I was still in my office trying to piece it all together when Martin’s call came in
