The drive to my company was silent after my boldness to confess my feelings for Rosie to Jacob. He actually didn't have anything to say and I could say it was reasonable to be mute. He parked in the car park and we got out of the car.
The office in the evening was very serene, with no sounds of pencils and pens falling. And no echoes of female heels hitting the floor and no noises of people annoyingly speaking under the voices. I entered my office and then flickered the lights on. I sat at my desk, Jacob leaned his butt to the desk and shrugged.
