The call went through but no one answered the phone. Who could be calling though? I thought to myself. And why did the person not say anything when I answered the call? I shook my head and tossed the phone on the bed. I was not ready for a prank call.
She was still here, fondling the paper but not opening it to read what was written on it. I wonder if she had nothing to do but sit here all evening. I went to her and tried to haul it from her but she dodged.
