Today is going to be the happiest day of my life because my long-time fantasy is finally turning into a reality. I am getting married! And not just to anybody but my dream husband. It's so exciting and I can't wait to experience and witness all that is going to transpire on this day. I know it's happening in a fuss but I don't care less as long as the starting point of my goal is established then I have faith that I can push to find that hidden love residing deep in the heart of my husband. My husband?? Jenna, you're already calling him your husband when you're not yet married. I smile innocently at my thoughts. As I stand in front of the grand garden doors, my heart races with anticipation and nerves. The fitted bodice of my purple and white wedding dress hugs my curves, the intricate lace detailing adding a touch of elegance to the ensemble. The dress accentuates my youthful 20-year-old figure, the gentle swell of my hips and generous chest peeking out from beneath the fabric. The skirt cascades down in soft layers, creating a regal and breathtaking sight that sweeps behind me in a graceful train. Every gentle sway and movement of my body causes the lace to shimmer in the soft light, a vision of beauty and femininity. My long, curly brunette locks cascade over my shoulders, framing my face with romantic softness. I clutch my bouquet of lavender and white roses in my trembling hands, their sweet scent mingling with the nervous excitement in the air. As I wait for my cue to enter the arena, I take a deep breath and feel a surge of confidence and excitement. I am ready to walk down the aisle and declare my love in front of all those who have gathered to witness this momentous occasion. I completely get knocked out of my thoughts when the large doors to the garden open and reveal the most beautifully decorated arena I have ever laid my eyes on. The whole garden is filled with lots of flowers ranging from different species and a variety of colors. The chandelier hangs low just in the middle of the garden with gleams of beautiful purple and white lights. The whole room is lit properly and is booming with so much love. The seats and tables are decorated with purple and white cloth covers and each table has a different species of flower and this garden is almost unrecognizable. Everyone is standing with a strand of flower in their hand and waving it slightly to the rhythm of the melodic tune that reaches my inner soul whenever I hear it; Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez. Finally, my eyes reach the only carefully and perfectly made structure. I was blessed by God to witness the existence and reign of such an art. He is the epitome of masculine beauty and grace. His sculpted physique exudes strength and confidence, every line and curve of his body reminiscent of a Greek god. And yet, there is a regal air about him, as if he holds the heritage of an Arabian prince. Dressed in a tailored white suit that fits him like a second skin, he exudes sophistication and style. The crisp white fabric contrasts beautifully with his sun-kissed skin, enhancing the golden undertones of his complexion. His purple bow tie matches my dress perfectly, a subtle yet elegant nod to our union. His dark hair is styled with precision, falling in luxurious waves around his chiseled jawline. His piercing gaze, resembling the color of the misty, foggy dawn of a winter morning, with a hint of silver and ice reflecting in its depths, is intense and captivating, drawing people in with its magnetic allure. With each movement, he exudes a sense of power and control, a man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it. “You have him all night no need to gawk at him in front of everyone,” Billy said cockily. Realization hits me and I am snapped out of my thoughts on hearing this and can't help but smile. I'm supposed to be walking down the aisle! Silly me! Billy Gonzalez has always been a comforting soul and a good friend as he was always there to shield and protect me from Jarred. He stood for me all the way and most times didn't agree with his best friend. If in the end Jarr and I don't work out maybe I could settle with Billy. Stop being childish Jenna! My subconscious scolded. “Are you ready?” Billy finally asks and I nod yes. The walk down the aisle is slow and follows the tune in the background. I can see Mum in the front row of the arena, smiling at me with all sincerity but her eyes hold so much sadness considering her husband's condition. I returned her smile with one filled with excitement and a little squeal and she couldn't help but let out a genuine smile. Everyone in the arena smiled at my little drama. And now to my hubby; he just stands there at the podium, watching me intently as I reach the stage. On reaching there, Billy lets go of me with a slight kiss on my cheek while Jarr takes me and we both turn to the officiating minister. “We are all gathered here to witness the holy matrimony of Mr. Jared Black and Miss Jenna Collins…” The Priest continues but I'm distracted as I meet his gaze, and in that moment, I see a depth of emotion in his eyes that he has never spoken aloud. The way he looks at me, with a mixture of tenderness and longing, speaks volumes that his words have never dared to utter. His eyes hold a silent confession of his feelings for me, a love that has remained unspoken yet palpable in every glance, every touch. Lost in our shared gaze, I feel a connection that transcends words, a silent understanding that only our hearts can comprehend. In the stillness of this moment, we are lost in our thoughts, our eyes locked in a dance of unspoken truths and hidden desires. I can feel the weight of his unspoken love pressing against my heart, filling me with a warmth and comfort that words could never capture. As we stand before our loved ones, surrounded by the beauty of this day, I know that our connection goes beyond words. It is a silent exchange of hearts that speaks volumes in its quiet declaration of love. I instantly feel a tap on my arm; "Miss Collins," the priest began, his voice echoing through the hushed arena "will you take Mr. James as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?" As the weight of the question hung in the air, our gaze locked, our eyes communicating a love that transcended words. With unwavering resolve and a heart brimming with love, I utter the words that bind our fate "Yes I do.” Placing the ring on his ring finger sealing our confession. He turned to Jared and asked him the same question but there was no response, instead I found a blank and straight face staring closely at me. Was he giving this marriage a second thought? What if he pushes me off this stage now, runs to his girlfriend, and kisses her instead? What is he thinking about that is stopping him from sealing this marriage already? Did I do anything? Oh Lord please touch his heart and remind him of all the benefits this marriage will bring him. “I do” He spoke sternly whilst staring deep at me. I let out a deep sigh I didn't know I was holding. A cold and soft hand met with my skin and his touch lingered on my skin causing goosebumps to rise like they had long waited for his touch. In slow motion, he placed the ring on my ring finger staring at me intently and his actions replicated that of someone maliciously gaining the attention of his snack which he would devour in no time. It was so sexy and geez my body never fails to react to his every act. “And now, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride.” The priest announced. Kiss?? I forgot about this part! Oh, my world! What do I do? I have never kissed anyone before! Oh, Jenna, the best you have to do is stay put. My subconscious scolded me. My thoughts are defeated. Jarr nods and just leans forward a little, grazing my left cheek with the soft pamper of his lips. Oh great! That's what I get for a first kiss huh? The whole arena was in an uproar of whoops, yells of excitement, and applause as our marriage had finally been sealed. I couldn't help but smile. Jared angled his elbow for me to hold onto and I immediately obeyed his command. We walked together down the aisle, retreating from the arena as the newlywed couple, nodding our heads as a gesture of appreciation to everyone who attended the wedding. Finally, we reach the grand doors and we are let out of the arena. Camera lights flying here and there, reporters flying around asking questions, and violent pushes to get an answer from either of us. "Miss Jenna, were you forced into this marriage?" "Is this a marriage out of love?" "Mr Black, is your marriage fake and only to strengthen your alliances with your partnering associates" The paparazzi throwing these questions. Security finally lets through the crowd and shades us both from the commotion, leading us into the house. "Make sure to see that ruckus is out of sight by the time for the reception" Jared instructed the Security head. "Yes sir" He assured. His face was contorted in rage, his brows furrowed and his lips pressed into a thin line. He clenched and unclenched his fists as he paced back and forth, his footsteps heavy and purposeful. His breathing was labored, and each exhaled a growl of frustration. "How did they know everything already?" I couldn't help but ask. "Jared" A husky voice called out. I turned to ascertain who owned the milky husky voice and the result ached my heart as it belonged to my only rival and competition; Brenda Parkins.
