His wolf growled watching Anthony pick her up and take her away from the window. He had been watching the sadness on Andrea’s face wishing he could take it away for her. He wanted to be the one to lay down next to her at night and make love to her. He wanted to be the one to wake up next to her knowing she was his. HIs wolf felt the same way and always started to growl when anyone was close to her and it wasn’t him. Anthony didn’t deserve such a beautiful woman by his side. Christine would be better. Thinking of Christine he turned to look at her as she was eating a rabbit that they had caught. She was very picky on what she ate and made him sick to his stomach that he was teamed up with her in order to get what he wanted. She was just a pawn who would be taken down as soon as the time was right. ‘Did you have to attack her like that,” he mind linked with Christine, the disgust in his voice evident. Christine growled at him ‘You said make it look real.’ She retorted ‘And just so you know that steel pipe burnt my hands too we’re lucky it didn’t leave my scent on it either or your plans would be done for.” He know she had a point but he also wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible. ‘Hopefully that girl will die other words we’ll have more trouble on our hands than we bargained for.’ He shot back at her turning away. He could hear the sounds of Anthony and Andrea in the bedroom and it made him sick. So he turned away to run along the boarder. ‘She will be mine.’ He thought as he kept a steady pace. After running around the perimeter for a few minutes he heard a twig snap and he went into immediate defense mode. “Relax, Sparky, it’s me.” A Smooth Latino voice sounded through the dark. He slowly shape shifted back into human form and waited fo the second party to come out from hiding. When the Witch finally did he glared at him “I told you to wait for my signal.” He growled hoping no one would come across their little chat. “I know but, I found out that there was an incident on the grounds. I wanted to make sure that wasn’t the sign.” He moved towards the witch growling “You know damn well that was not the sign, now tell me what your really doing here.” The witch looked like he was examining his hand and answered “We’ve waited 14 years for this attack and now you are making us want a little longer?” “Well if your man, what was his name? Oh yes Dr. Jones had not gotten to trigger happy before it was time, I could have given you what you wanted.” He said grabbing the witch by his neck “Now are you going to make the same mistakes he did or will I need to dispatch of you now?” He had to give it to the witch. In all honesty the witch had a leg up on him with the powers he had, but he did not realize it. Once the witch did he would be in major trouble. “Now listen, Right now they are on high alert and they have patrols going along the pack house, once I know how many they have protecting it I can tell you were to strike and when.” He released the witches throat “Do you think you can wait a week longer?” The witch rubbed his neck and glared at him. He didn’t care he needed the witch to be afraid of him. “Yes sir,” the witch said standing straight “but if you do not tell us anything we will attack and you will be a casualty.” The witch turned away and walked back the way he came from. The man stood there for a minute until he knew no one had heard them and no one was around for him to shift back and start his patrols again. It had been two days since Annabelle was found, and she was making a slow recovery. When they realized it was a silver pipe that was lodged in her back, they realized that they were in for a lot of trouble. "Do you think they found us?" Andrea asked Anthony.
"I hope it doesn't but I'm going to increase patrols." Anthony said shaking his head.
"This doesn't sit right with me." Kathy said, She was looking out the window of the hospital where they all had met up to see how Annabelle was doing. She had not woken up yet but they all wanted to make sure she knew they were there for her when she did.
"What doesn't?" Anthony asked turning to look at her.
Kathy turned towards the group with fear written all over her face "Annabelle did not even make it here. She was missing before we left." Kathy looked at everyone individually hoping what she was saying would hit home "How did she make it here when she was never told to go?"
Andreas face flushed, Daniel and Marcus's eyes both became wide. Anthony's face went from confusion to plain anger. Janice looked around at each of them with the fear that she knew what was going on. "They're going to attack again." Andrea whispered. The fear was more evident in her voice than in anyones body. This made Anthony pull her into his arms and Janice became angry. She thought back to when everything happened and could remember him. She didn't know his name but she had been watching him for a while and had a thought but still didn't know if what she was thinking was true. Whining a little she got Andrea's attention and waited for her to nod her head to allow her to leave for a minute. She had to find him. If she was right he would be outside the hospital watching for Andrea.
