Piper just told me that Alpha Dylan still has Miley locked up in her room—after a whole week. I stare at her, stunned, my thoughts scrambling to make sense of what I’ve just heard.
“Are you serious?” I ask, blinking at her like she’s grown two heads.
She shrugs. “I guess locking people up is Alpha Dylan’s specialty.”
My stomach churns. “What about his sister, Vanessa? From what I’ve seen so far, Alpha Dylan actually listens to her. Why isn’t she doing anything to help Miley?”
Piper raises an eyebrow like I’ve said something stupid. “Vanessa isn’t his sister.”
I frown. “Of course she is. She told me herself.”
