Dylan's POV Kevin enters my room with his head down, shoulders tense like he’s expecting a blow. He doesn’t need to speak—I already know he isn’t bringing good news. I force myself to sit up, my muscles screaming in protest. Pain crackles through every nerve ending, but I grit my teeth and push past it. “Where is she?” I growl. “Where is that good-for-nothing old witch?” Kevin shakes his head slowly. “She refused to come with me, Alpha. She said she’s already told you what you need to do… and the longer you wait, the weaker you’ll become.” I freeze.
