My whole body freezes the moment the door explodes. Alpha Dylan crashes down onto the table right beside me with a loud thud, splinters flying everywhere. For a second, everything goes silent—then chaos erupts.
Screams pierce the air. Before I can even register what’s happening, wolves in their beast forms storm into the hall, snapping jaws and ripping through anyone in their path.
In the blink of an eye, Alpha Dylan’s birthday party becomes a m******e.
There’s nowhere to hide. Wolves fill every corner. The stench of blood fills the room. The sound of people shrieking shreds my nerves and twists my stomach into painful knots. We are unprepared. Completely taken off guard.
