BIGGEST CHANGE

It’s yet another day to go through unending struggles and pain Maria thinks has she gets up to take a shower. I don’t know how today will go but I hope it goes well. ‘’What to wear ?’ My college mates are now going to make fun of me that I keep wearing the same clothes, but what can I do ? Where will I get the money from ? I hate my life!! I open the closet to find something to wear Since I pretty much wear the same clothes, this jeans and white T-shirt will do..I say to myself as I grab them from Closet and get ready. As I walk to school from the apartment I rent. I don’t live in school I didn’t really have money to afford the school accommodations fees so I got an apartment cheaper which is near so i get to walk. As am about to enter the school I receive a call from my best friend Amanda. Amanda is from from a well to do family and we’ve been friends for 2years now. *Calls ringing* Amanda : hey girl, can you stop walking and look behind I’ve been calling your name for sometime now and you kept walking… sheesh Me : sorry can you just hurry Amanda gives me a hug and we go to class Class ends and we head back to my apartment Maria do you ever stop worrying about life and just enjoy It for once ? You always worrying I love you but girl you gotta stop Amanda says to me “Amanda how can I stop worrying when everything keeps going wrong in my life, I think I need to get a job” My aunt want a sales assistant you can get the job if you want and it pays well so loosen up babes. That way you can get what you want and stop worrying about these little things! She says giving me a hug I love you Amanda you are the best I don’t what I would do without Amanda she literally is there for me, like how would someone be this loving and kind to a nobody like me. I don’t know how I got a friend like her am grateful. ‘Hey Maria is there anything to eat am starving?’ As she walks to the fridge to check only to find the fridge is empty. I don’t think I have anything but I have noodles in the cupboard you can check there, one on the right. Looking at me like she’s was about to cry ,Amanda tells me to get up But Amanda? I say to her What’s wrong Maria get up we are going to the mall to get some food. What do you eat huh?? And never once have you told me you don’t have food?” I have noodles… I say Am your best friend Maria you know you can ask me for help. Am here for you. Amanda says pushing me to the door. She gets me out and locks the door and we get going. Amanda has always been the funniest between the two of us and out doing and the beautiful. she’s going out with a really hot guy called Andrew. Andrew is also my friend and he always has my back at least thou I still feel they don’t really love me and just pretend to like me. Andrew and Amanda are the only friends I know. Amanda calls Andrew to the mall and says he’s already there and we will find him there. As we get there we find Andrew in the parking lot where we see he has company. Well his company is hot I think to myself.he is tall, handsome, has nice sexy eyes that I can look at the all day and a great muscular body, seems like he was born in the gym. He kisses Amanda and hugs me and introduces us to his company. Babe, Maria meet Carlo my big Brother he just came in the country and I barely see him so he decided to see me today. Amanda gives him a hug and says nice to meet you and when I almost hug him,he puts his hand out to give me a hand shake how embarrassing and says nice to meet you too. I was so embarrassed I felt dirty and disgusting but Andrew hugged me and said let’s go get us some food am starving. We walk to the mall the four of us. Amanda kept picking a lot of groceries like she was going to buy the all entire shop and all this time Carlos kept giving me a disgusting look like he didn’t want to be around me, like I was smelling badly or something. I kept wondering why…I was so uncomfortable I turned to Amanda and told her I wanted to go home but she was too busy having fun and goofing around with Andrew to even notice what I said. I turned to Carlo and he didn’t even want to looked at me. Where did this hurt come from? I barely even know this guy and he is here acting like maybe I stole something or killed someone he loved well I just said can you please tell Andrew and Amanda am going now. I will see them later?.. all he said was okay and turned back to what he was doing. I then walking out of the store and started walking back to my apartment. After a few minutes Amanda must have noticed am gone because am pretty Carlos couldn’t have said anything from the way he looked at me, I didn’t pick up because I know she would have asked me to go back. She kept calling but I really didn’t want to go back and be a third wheel or be around a guy was disgusted by existence. The feeling I got just by that look and how he acted reminded of just how unloved I was and if I’ll ever find love. After all I was uglier than shrek in some rugs.
