Kaden tapped his pen against the mahogany desk Twice. “You have five minutes, Mrs. Jorge. Explain why Jorge Groups wants Williams Holdings.”
Cassie sit right. She opened the black leather portfolio and pulled out a single sheet. She laid it flat on his desk, turning it to face him.
“Williams Holdings lost $322.4 million in European assets last quarter,” she said. No inflection. Just facts. “Your Milan development stalled at 41% completion. Paris permits denied twice. Your shareholders filed three formal complaints with the board. Your CFO called Jorge Group on March 12th, March 18th, and March 29th. You need us.”
His eyes dropped to the numbers. Every one of them correct. His jaw tightened. “You’ve been digging on us?”
